Test screening don't always predict how a movie will do in theaters. Wierd Al's UHF had the highest test screening for any movie in Orion pictures history. It opened in the summer of '86 which is considered one of the most profitable in movie history. UHF couldn't compete with movies like Leathal Weapon 2 and bombed. It is regarded as a good comedy though.
