Megatron is dead, and the Autobots now live on earth in peace. However, in a distant galaxy, Starscream has declared himself the new leader of the Decepticons, which angers those loyal to Megatron, particularly Soundwave. Soundwave, who is able to give life back to fallen robotic organisms, leads his own band of Decepticons to earth to resurrect Megatron. To make matters worse, Starscream has heard of an energy source birthed from the Allspark by Sector 7, and he leads his own band to earth as well to take that source of energy. However, Soundwave cannot complete the resurrection without another energy source known as the Creation Matrix, which just so happens to be in the possession of Optimus Prime. With one band of Decepticons closing in on Optimus Prime and another band of Decepticons looking for the ultimate power, the Autobots, as well as Sam, Mikaela, and the former members of Sector 7, find themselves caught in the middle of a Decepticon civil war that could ravage the planet, and they must fight their way out of it in order to save the human species from extinction.

Then again, they said the same thing about PRIME DIRECTIVE, the leaked script for part 1, and it ended up pretty much being the movie.

Right on! It sounds like a great start ya know. I mean if anyone was going to rally the troops to get Megatron it would be Soundwave... maybe Shockwave.

It would be cool if half of the decepticons were after Prime and the Autobots had to protect Prime (a little cybertronian capture the flag if you will), while the others were trying to revive Megatron. I don't know... sounds kick ass.

If they introduce a aircraft carrier like they talked about taking one out in the comic... I'm sure a Decepticon of that size and **** could get to the bottom of the ocean to save megs????

Sounds like a great plot. Hopefully this time they'll focus on more characterization for the transformers themselves so they don't seem so disposable.

All in all a solid plot and definitely in keeping with the spirit of existing TF lore. Can't wait to see Soundwave and what he transforms into.

I hope Blackout makes a comeback as well. He was awesome and I felt so cheated when he died. One shot to the nuts and a few air-to-ground missiles? At least Brawl died impressively though.

Agreed! If anyone come back I hope it Blackout... he's one destructive motha with all kinds of weapons. Plus in the prequel him and Starscream get into it.... awesome!!!

Sucks he went out that fast. I would have like to see more Transformers die at the hands of transformers ya know.

It has a connection to that leaked script too. The plot sounds good considering the story was meant to give the decepticons more personality, and I do have a feeling that a cliffhanger ending is on the horizon.

nice, that is really cool. I love the idea of a Decepticon Civil War. I hope this winds up being what the movie actually is.
