By way of Facebook page Planet Iacon, we have an image announcing a new issue of the Takara Tomy Lost Age Battle Command Optimus Prime - now simply known as Battle Command Optimus Prime - due April 2018! Part of the movie lines, the simpler figure comes with a trailer that can transform into the winged backpack seen in other toys from Age of Extinction, too. Check out the image below!

Wonder if it's a straight rerelease or a redeco of the AoE one? Never did get around to grabbing that even when it was cheap.

Easy for me. This was never a mold I was a fan of and while the trailer does look nice, I'd rather stick with the new voyager as opposed to this.

Can't tell what, if anything, is different about this one, so we could very possibly be looking at a straight reissue, which would be cool regardless.

Fun toy but I'd rather a trailer for the TLK Voyager though amusing that this toy gets the chest and shoulderpad flames the voyager lacks (until you apply the superb Toyhax stickers which make the voyager look so damn cool)

Love this figure, lots of features and it interacts with other AOE figures. One thing that should be made clear, the backpack is permanently attached and acts as a platform for figures. Here's my review of the original version of the figure from the Lost Age line

i wish the leader class from ROTF had a transforming trailer that turned into his winged jetpack like in DOTM not like the ridiculous ultimate class version
this however looks more like a bad afterthought
