my dad bought me the 86 tf movie from amazon and the cover said collectors edition and it was blue. i know this is the older version bu is it rare?

I've seen it go for a max of 11 dollars.
But, is the original movie worth anything, like the old tape, because in a price guide I saw it as worth 80 bucks. :shock:

I've got a version (ok, it's not mine, I borrowed it) with like Optimus, Starscream, Soundwave and some of the Autobots on the front, with Prime in the centre. I'm assuming that this is the standard cover.
