i cant find a figure of Overlord anywhere in g1. is it a european realease only? i went threw wiki, and a few other sites and the only mention of him is in the uk comics where megs killed him

Well, the components doesn't have separate robot modes, but Magmatron doesn't have either, and he is considered a combiner...

As figure, he is japanese/european exclusive (G1 ended in US at the time he hit shelves) and a very cool one, too (for cartoon, he is the villain of Masterforce).

Yeah no joke. $1200 is the bare minimum that set sells for now because the individual Brestforce members go for $200 MIB each. I've actually seen the giftset sell for $1500 before. But it was an exceptionally minty sealed box. So, yeah if you have more then one I'd definitely sell one of the sets. Get yo paper sahn.

Yep. I think the deco is identical to the European release. The Japanese one is considered the main version though because there was no fiction for Euro Overlord except for tech specs. Also there's a red and blue high quality knock off of Overlord that's floating around.

Even trying to get the 4 european repaints (which dont have the breast beasts) is hard to do!

Actually, all 4 of the "Rescue Force" have been rotting in a warehouse/shop right in the middle of the main TF mecca shopping district for YEARS now. Not only that, they're going for something like $7 each, MOSC.

It's a good buy, granted, but I don't think anyone can bring themselves to justify that insult to Liokaiser's memory by purchasing them.

I would buy them in a heartbeat for that price. Those have been on my list of items to purchase for quite some time.
