Leader Megatron Question #1453

Postby Overcracker » Fri Jun 15, 2007 12:18 pm

Motto: "Collecting little transforming action figures is the right of all sentient Geeks."
Weapon: Indepentently Targetable Particle Beam Cannons
I know lots questions and threads about this guy, but this really doesn't refer to his alt mode, or lack there of. More like a custom Transformation issue.

for those of you that have him, can his arms be folded back in jet mode, to be close to his legs and wings. so he looks a bit more like Cyclonus.

Image

It looks like they can fold down, and i think it might make him look a little better.

If this is possible can anyone post some pics from the underside and from above just to get a feel for what it looks like. I want to be sure, before i shell out the 40.00 bucks for him.

No, but nice idea. Actually, if it did, it would have made me like the vehicle mode more because it has a nice tie in to G1.

Well thats just very sad. It would have made him look a lot better.

Now I'm seriously put off of buying ohh well. I guess I can always save the 40 dollars for Leader Brawl when he comes out.

Ill have to try that.I really have no idea why people hate this figure its great in robot mode and in cybertronian just mode its cool to its an alien jet no a vehicle from this earth thats why people gove hime such a bad time. Hes actually very good i like him better than prime but hey thats just me im not a crazy person that depicts so much about a figure. I woneder it i could rotate the head and push it in to hide it.

While we're asking questions about the big Megatron, I have one...

How is the movement in his legs? Can he only bend at the knees, or can he rotate on the top part of his leg, where it meets his pelvis.

...

... and I said pelvis

The Knees go back and forth, upper leg is a ratchet joint and the upper leg can rotate.

Its still bugging me. Are you sure they can't rotate? So maybe not flush with the legs and wings, but rotate down a bit?

Image

Pics of the farthest the arms could rotate would be appreciated.

Thanx. I would think they could rotate more if they become the arms, I'm guessing the round pieces there are the elbows.

Anyway, thanx again.

Outstanding. I see to compensate for the lack of rotation, you folded down the tips. Still looks pretty Good. Better than with them to the front.

A little more blue, and he could pass of for Cyclonus.

Thanx for the Pics, I appreciate it.

Is it just me or is this version of Megatron reminiscent of the RID version?

I Have RID Galavatron, The white Megatron repaint, and I just don't see the resemblance.

...because both movie Megatron and Gigatron both look half-assed in all modes except robot?

Sally, I think we have a winner! tell him what he's won, Bob!

Back on topic: In spite of everything, even his flaws, I think Leader Megatron looks totally badass--in robot mode.
