We really get down with good villains, and MEGATRON fits that bill to a "T." If you're like us, then you're probably pretty excited to get ahold of The Transformers: Megatron: Origin #1 in May. In the meantime, tide your villainous desires over with this finished variant cover by Marcelo Matero!

I'm thinking the Decepticon symbol in that mess (of what I'm guessing is mech fluid) is simply intended to be artistic. It'll be interesting to see if he has those caution stripes because he was a construction laborer or because he was a prototype weapon.

I could really do without the warning-bar uni-brow. Other than that, nice.

Yeah I was about to say that too. Actually it doesn't really bother me too much, but I just thought it looks kinda weird. Overall, i find it very impressive, definitely a very bad-ass depiction of a young and dangerous megatron.

as far as i can tell, it looks like megatron is carrying out his first evil act, brutally murdering someone - his autobot boss? because he's sick of taking orders? - and their internal fluids are splattering on him. a bunch of other people see what he's done, and decide to rebel with him, and take the splatter of the blood of their oppressor as being a sign of all that the movement signifies.. taking your destiny into your own hands instead of dedicating your life to serving others.. what it means to be a decepticon

but then, thats just a guess.
