Nice, it was in store a few days ago here at Travelling Man (before amazon's release date of the 4th) priced at £53 compared to amazon's £35. It'd be nice to support local shops but that's a big difference in price

Still considering the book. Mostly for the NA chapters, but also to get a full guide for the Classics line.

Saw Castle Grayskull at Walmart, what a huge box! I had just assumed it would be packed closed, but I guess it must be packed open making for a very wide and flat box that takes up a ton of shelf space. I wonder how Mattel convinced them to stock something that big?
I gave up on finding figures locally, all I've seen at Walmart and Target is He-man and Skeletor since Christmas (which I have, along with Battlecat and flocked Panthor). I ended up ordering waves 2, 4, 5 and 6 off BBTS for $60 each a few weeks ago which is a perfectly fine price. Hopefully they take orders on waves 1 and 3 again, finding them at MSRP is getting tough. And then there's the Deluxes, Walmart and Target don't sell them, I should probably just order them off BBTS, too.
If I knew this line was going to take off the way it has I would have bought wave 1 last year...

Release schedules that weird I don't even know what the 'waves' are supposed to be (a bit like gi joe classified). The keldor/Trapjaw packs available from some skalper on ebay at £80
Managed to get a few of the deluxes off amazon but its really random if they are available or rrp. Smyths seem to be left with skeletor and heman but I think that's because they were in multiple waves and probably a good thing to have the main characters always available.
Picked up the book of the toys a few days ago. Biggest let downs is no netflix Shera and the guys name ruins the spine of the book compared to the other dark horse books. Also no wwe motu but I guess that just means a second book down the line

The schedules are one of the reasons I gave up on GI Joe Classified. If the Revelations line pops up for pre-order as a whole wave ala Marvel Legends. I'd recommend going down that route.

First Images of Kevin Smith's new netflix series:
https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/mas ... p_deeplink
I *hoped* it would not look nearly as bad as the She-Ra series from a couple of years ago. I also Hoped it would take inspiration from the 2002 series, and...well... Call me impressed. I know it's only a few still shots, but it looks absolutely amazing!. Like they decided to take the classic MOTU characters and design them in the 2002 series! Definitely looking forward to July 23rd.

Instantly brought 200X to my mind. Consider me impressed.
Also: He-Ro is a very interesting addition to the cast.

Some more toy pics, so far masterverse is all revelations figures. Not so sure on super skeletor but Cringer is nice to finally see and potentially have -compared to spending £80+ on the classics queen.
* super skeletor looks like hes wearing the sawn off faces of a transformers prime character on each shoulder -not sure if that's a good or bad thing. I cant unsee it now.
Looks very 200X but I can skip most of these and the toon. Shame the other series is looking a bit too heavily stylised but at least I have a toon to look forward to.

I'm guessing Origins castle grayskulls going to have a few reissues/reuses down the line.
The other Motu toon figures have been revealed, pics up on toyark:
Skeletor need some pain on his face but looks good.
He-man with double sword logo is interesting but the proportions on these new figures look a bit odd.
Battle armor he-man with all new style armor, could be the start of some new interesting designs that make it into the other lines. Kind of like it.
Just hope thta Kevin Smith has no involvement aven as a guest worker on this show and maybe it can be good.

A lot of people online have decried Skelegod being in the first wave, as a bit spoilery for the series. Given he seems to be an animated Golden God Skeletor equivalent.. While possessing the Power Sword.
Personally he reinforces my growing apprehension that Revelation will pave over New Adventures.

the origins lords of power Evil lyn hs new leg/knee sculpts YAY so from whatever wave she is the female figures should improve from the line (sadly I think green goddess is the old mold).
LOP Beastman is the Red beast version so some retailers have the used the wrong images and it looks more prototypeish/distinguished in a good way from being a beastman repaint

Jack skelling... I mean battle armor skeletor turned up today. The armor looks better on him than heman even if it's still a bit too small I'm glad for it because I thought they were gonna go the same way as classics or wwe motu with replaceable chest parts rather than full on retro action.

Very nice. I like the alternate Skeletor designs. I had Terror Claws Skeletor from the original line.

I was half-tempted by the Classics redux:

But for some reason, I didn't think it had the same kind of charm as the original.

I haven't purchased any of the new toys, just don't have room. Walmart ever only seemingly has He-Man and Skeletor. In recent times I saw at Target Hordak (once), and Roboto (once), and I was sorely tempted to get them because they were some of my favorites as a kid. Of course now I see scalpers selling them for crazy prices. They are cool for sure, and I hope you are all able to get the ones you want, but I think it's something I best leave alone. But they are cool for sure.

Motu scalpers and pricing make me physically sick and not want to even search motu stuff on ebay.
Classics terror claws skeletor looks really good, would have been nice ot get a face with the extra green on it and the chest vac metalled (I think super 7 only started to explore Vac metal with the TV accurate retro range with the He-ro figure right as Mattel took back over).
I'm still not overly keen on any origins skeletor head at the mo but I have my super 7 tv skeletor for that(and Im wanting a classics so I can put the mini comic head on him). would be nice ot get one with an opening jaw and a decent balljoint os his head can tilt back for a full on evil cackle to sing alongside Meme prince Adam..

It is for the reason of space, that I likely won't get into the Revelations line. I'm running low on space now, without throwing another collection on top of that.
I think the missing paint apps were the reason he just didn't catch my eye the same as the original. The added green is a really nice touch to the design that doesn't get reused too often.

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na Hordak!
The circular window in the back is kind of neat when Hordak wants to dress up as shadow weaver and then murder who ever is using the shower. I'm not convinced the batcave really works for primal age batman but for motu or even necas upcoming gargoyles for sure! I know it was something amazing like $30 in the states but it's worth paying a bit of a mark up for how huge the box is and that it wasn't released this side of the pond.

I was going to say, that cave wasn't something I recognised from He-Man. It certainly compliments Castle Greyskull very well. I always found it a shame 200X was cancelled when it was. I was intrigued what their iteration of Hordak would bring to the series.
I was watching a video on YouTube some time ago. Wherein they were talking about ineffectual cartoon villains. Skeletor came up, alongside Hordak, pre-Movie Megatron (they made that distinction) and put them next to PokéMon's Team Rocket, among others.
Funnily enough Cobra Commander, Venger and (Original series) Mumm-Ra were not counted as ineffectual. Mumm-Ra was also a bit of a grey area. As he was rarely proactive.

I weep for the passing of the 200X series often. I can't tell you how many times I've watched those 39 episodes. I like to think the DC comics from a few years ago kind of went in the direction that the 200X series would have, but there were some differences for sure. I really was excited to see more of Hordak and the intro of She-Ra.
I may be sharing a bit too much, but in the first episode of S2 when He-Man takes on literally EVERY VILLAIN up to that point by himself, I get a little bit misty eyed each time, that is such an amazing scene!

I've got a terrible memory for most things. But the part of 200X I remember vividly is the episode with King Greyskull. With very little dialogue, Hordak caught my attention in that episode alone.

The 200X episode where Skeletor actually wins He-man to reach Hordak was pretty cool. Evil Lyn comments 'so there is something Skeletor is afraid of' or something like, was darn cool. i was hoping for a Snake mountian in 200X but they reeased the castle for the third time instead, boooo.
Ive still got to get imaginext lazzarus/ooze pit for the MUSCLE MOTU, it's definitely influenced by the slime pit.
Beast wars Megatron got beaten by flatulence so there is that G1 Megatron has over him, even if BW Megs did kinda win.
