Hot on the heals of the revelation that Josh Duhamel will be returning to Transformers: The Last Knight, we get a teaser via Micheal Bay's Instagram account that his partner in crime, Tyrese Gibson AKA Epps shall be joining him on the big screen again! Now this is just a rumor shown off via social networking, but it is likely that if Lennox is to return to the movie-verse, so too shall his partner in crime. As much as I agree with the criticism of Bay's predilection for military narratives or involvement, I agree more with ZeroWolf's point here. It's also being used/explored in the current IDW comics, and so far it's working fairly well (and much better than DotM/AoE, for example).

So long as the military doesn't take over the movie like it did in the first three I'm happy to have Lennox back, especially if his team is back with him. Though I'd rather see Lennox act as an ambassador between the government and the Autobots, with little to no military intervention in the battles themselves. I can't see the Autobots willing to work with the military again after they were hunted down after Chicago. That makes Lennox one of the few people who could be sent to try and formalize relations once more. Thematically it works.

If JJ Abrams can throw out logic in the two major sci-fi franchises of all time, one of which was known for its logic, so can Bay (not hat he ever applied logic in the first place)! :michaelbay:
