Not like in the animated movie.
But in all seriousness, there is a certain preparedness to fight, a sort of war-worn feel about the live-action Autobots that was different to the ones in the Unicron movie. I cringed in so many parts of that because the Autobots simply didn't learn from their mistakes, they fall prey to the same Decepticons traps again and again since G1 even started, and when they fight they stuff up bad.
At least in 2007 Autobots get beaten because their enemies are stronger, not because they make mistakes.
Well, at least the Autobots aren't spastics.

Its hard to concentrate when you have to work with faboulous voice talents like Eric Idle and Robert Stack.
J/k. but I do agree. It really differentiates the two sides that way. And at least there were casualties.

Casualties in a sense of 'We fought well, but someone still died' instead of 'We didn't fight well, and 3/4 of our entire force died senselessly because of it... and Hot Rod.'

You may want to change your thread title.
The only positive thing I can say about the 2007 movie in terms of casualties, is that at least we got to see some characters die, we didn't just see their corpses on the floor for a few seconds.
