here's a small hint... if the people are on a black background, then you can change that layer's blending mode to screen and the black will disappear. but aside from that... I reccommend using the polygon cutting tool!

err yeah, i found the Magnetic Lasso on Photoshop 2 mins after i posted, does what i was after, hence the deleted thread
