One for each year of the Movieverse's decade strong tenure. Here's to a few more explosive years!
Tidalwavex wrote:So were getting a TF3 deluxe prime toy with trailer but no DA-28 Jetwing prime from hasbro?
The most poseable & DOTM movie accurate optimus+jetfire combination & it's not available by hasbro in America.

Uhm, no Jetfire was not in DOTM. Sorry. Prime combines with his trailer in Dark of the Moon.
DA-28 does not have Jetfire, it has Prime's trailer in Wing Mode from the movie.
If you are going to complain at least get it right.
Also there's nothing that says Hasbro is not going to release that mold in the West ever.
They may decide they want to release it in the Trilogy line next year.

If anything ask our fans down under for one: he was imported there a week before his Japanese debut. I don't see Hasbro US releasing him tho, he's simply too big and therefore more of a hazard to the kids.
And if you're telling someone to get his facts straight, start with yourself: DA-28 is Striker Optimus, not Jetwing which is DA-15. Yes, I can be anal about that
And FYI I so see Striker having a better chance than Jetwing.

Tidalwavex wrote:Have you even seen the DOTM movie?
In the Dotm movie,Optimus Prime kept combining with the jetfire parts in various scenes. So the DA-15 toy was clearly in the DOTM movie.
Their was no trailer that formed a robotic suit of armor for the optimus robot mode to combine with in the DOTM Movie.
In the DOTM Movie,Optimus used the trailer only in alt mode to carry around the jetfire parts inside the trailer.

I did see the movie by the way.
When did you see Jetfire in there?
The only time we see Prime with the jetpack is in the final battle scene in Chicago, he comes flying in and gets tangled in some wires. He doesn't keep combining, he does it exactly once, and its not Jetfire, its his trailer.
Why do you think Hasbro made the Ultimate Prime? Do you think they like to make Ultimate Priced toys just because they feel like it? No its because Prime combined with his trailer in the movie. That's the entire point of that toy.
That doesn't preclude the possibility of him having the trailer be his weapons pack as well, or even having more than one trailer for that matter.
Prime even mentions in the movie when Shockwave steals his trailer:
"They got my trailer. I need that flight tech!"
He doesn't say they've got Jetfire, he says Flight tech his trailer is the jetpack.

NO,in the dotm movie optimus prime did use the jetfire parts more than once.
The stuff inside the trailer in the dotm movie. was clearly the jetfire flight parts.
Tidalwavex wrote:The whole purpose of the trailer being in the DOTM movie. was to transport the jetfire parts into battle for optimus prime.
optimus prime & his autobots engineers clearly re-designed the jetfire parts during the down time when ROTF Ended & before DOTM started.
the DA-15 jetfire parts are clearly the ones optimus uses in the dotm movie during his robot combiner flight scenes.
Tidalwavex wrote:the fligh pack stuff stuff inside the trailer in the DOTM Movie is the jetfire parts. the jetfire parts got re-designed & looks slightly different in the dotm movie.
The sheer fact the DA-15 looks like jetfire parts should indicate they are the jetfire parts.
the DOTM UlTIMATE toy has nothing that remotely looks like the DOTM flight pack seen in the DOTM movie.
AGAIN,The only purpose for the trailer being in the DOTM movie was to transport the jetfire parts into battle.

The Jetwing accessory looks nothing like Jetfire, where are you getting your facts about Prime's flight tech being Jetfire remnants? His Trailer also housed a weapons ring loaded with weaponry. I like to think Que\Wheeljack devised the trailer\battle platform\fight tech for Prime. Without facts you are just arguing your interpretation of the trailer and where it came from.
Blurrz wrote:It's flight tech. It's not Jetfire. The flight tech may have been fashioned from Jetfire's body, but there's no factual basis behind it other than your own opinion.

Sometimes you just need put all the pieces to the puzzle together.Blurrz wrote:It's flight tech. It's not Jetfire. The flight tech may have been fashioned from Jetfire's body, but there's no factual basis behind it other than your own opinion.
I like to think the wreckers or wheeljack/Q re-designed the jetfire's parts to look the way they did in the DOTM movie.
the sheer fact the DA-15 toy exist. is all the evidence I need that it's jetfire parts that formed the flight pack for DOTM Optimus in the movie.

Something odd though, i was at a collector shop today, and the shipping boxes for the DMK Bumble bee were from HASBRO (it had the label and their pink stripe) ... and labeled DMK-02 Bumblebee model kit. Yeap, not the takaratomy shipping boxes, but hasbro ones.
