How bout that defense? They didn't have a false sense of confidence, they were sure of their ability to win, and they did. It's so nice to see Eli win the year after his brother. easily one of the best games I ever saw, and probably my favorite birthday present.

That was without a doubt THE most exciting Super Bowl I have ever seen (and I haven't missed one since SB 15). But I do have to make one comment:

HEY HOODIE! THE GAME WASN'T OVER YET!! I will stand by my proposition that Bellichik is one of most CLASSLESS , unprofessional coaches in the NFL. YOU LOST THE GAME! FACE UP TO IT! It's just downright RUDE to leave the field before the clock strikes 0:00. I'd wager the NFL will be hitting his pocketbook for some spare change next week...

Congrats to the Jints on a great win. Just goes to prove the old addage: defense wins championships.

FINALLY! The past go down! That was an awesome game, I was just as happy to see the Giants there as I would of been if the Colts went there.

BTW did anyone else notice the transformers music they were playing when they were showing off the teams? I've seen that movie long enough to know what the score sounds like.

Yeah heard the theme as well. It was the Autobot theme. I automatically spun around when I heard it.

I think the play where Manning through to Tyree in the fourth quarter was the best play in Footbal history. The last 10 minutes of that game was one of the best in Super Bowl history as well.

I picked up the score (a must-buy BTW, a fantastic score) and yes, I heard the TF tracks in there too. In fact, CBS and FOX have both been using tracks from the movie for their football coverage this year...too bad those picking out the Oscar nominations didn't notice how good the score was: everyone else seems to have noticed.

The Pats were truly disappointing! Letting their killer offence get dissected like that truly hurt my feelings!

Sad to say, since I hate all NY teams, The Giants came to win and took the Patriots out!

Owell, they earned their victory!

I couldn't believe my eyes on that pass to Tyree. What was Manning thinking? That was crazzee.

BTW, what was your favorite commercial? I thought it lacked a bit this year, although the one with Shaq and the racehorse was funny.

I had to work, so I listened to the game on the radio....have not checked out any of the ads yet....I did hear, however, thay they pretty much sucked, with some diamonds that stood out...but not like the old days!

????? Of course they were, you're allowed to hit the arm. And you CANNOT complain about dirty play when you have Rodney Harrison on your team.

And I thought that it was funny as hell when Brady's arm got hit and he looked like a limp fish!

They stayed in the game because of the constant pressure on Brady. he set up that last drive to the Moss TD because the Giants blitzers were terribly exhausted. maybe the Pats could have won if they stopped trying to go deep for Moss over and over like in the regular season.

All I know is that last sack on Brady was freaking brutal. It was a 'Waterboy' hit. Carried him back about 4 yards.

I didnt see any cheating or unfair officating going on. Both teams were getting down and dirty, trying to strip the ball at every opportunity.

The only reason that one sack on Brady looked so brutal on his arm was because he was in throwing motion and his arm got stopped but his shoulder kept moving.

It was an awesome game overall.

I saw that this morning about 8973457893785935 times on SportsCenter, since I had to work and listened to the game on the radio....I winced the frist 3 or 4 times I saw it! They knew he was gimp coming into the game, and took GREAT advantage of it!

As much as it pains me to say it, The Giants deserved to win....and the Pats deserved to lose....

....the cheaters that they are... :grin:

and finaly, say what you will about the pats, but they still have the best record in football. hell in the begining of the season, alot of you rooted for other teams, teams MY team beat. so e lost the super bowl, we won 3 others.

that being said........is it baseball season yet?
