Erm i think one or two people here are forgetting that Mosaics are done by fans for fans as a bit of fun, meaning that not everyone is going to be an artist by trade.

Personally I like it, not everyone likes the current view of hyper realistic or anime inspired visuals. Its kind of a throw back to the old school days of comics with some phsycodelia thrown in. The use of the colours is intresting too.

As for your first amendment rights, freedom of speach is a great thing. Except even in America it isn't totally free unless it fits in with the status quo broadly speaking.

Whilst the comment about it being crap was a little crass and blunt, it was his\her opinion. It was perhaps not eloquantly portayed, but then again thats the whole point of art, its subjectives and this is the internet where any one can post thier thoughts to the whole world and largely have them ignored.

Takes a level of guts to put your work out thier to be judged, so well done to Mario and Ben for doing so.

Nope. My son loves them. He has a bunch of the toys. Just not something I would expect to see come up here...in a regular TF discussion.

As for the Mosaic. The art is good for a period piece. If that was the artist's intent, which it probably was, again like others have said, along the lines of 'Man of Iron' or steel or whichever it was. It lends a certain hint that the Decepticons may have been responsible for some of the myths of old. Honestly, I was expecting a HEARTS of STEEL Astrotrain, but this was still cool.

Is "criticle" a word?

Maybe I'm trying to prove I don't like the god damn comic. You want specifics? Fine, The artwork looks like it predates Marvel transformers #1. Theres a reason the recent transformers comics are not in this style. Also, it makes it hard to tell who it was that took the proffesor (white rumble/frenzy?) Then we have the conductor who says that the proff just walked in like he was drawn in, but the comic shows him clearly being taken. Whats worse, given this is supposed to be a transformers comic, the only sound a transformer makes is WOOSH. Its like Ongoing #8 where a transformer didn't appear untill page 17.

Finally, the reason I said its crap is because I AM DR. HEAVY B, I'm an American and as such I am protected by an Iron Clad first ammendment that says I have a right to give my oppinion about a crappy comic posted online if I so choose.

Satisfied?

Alright "Dr. Heavy B.". I think I know my Transformers comics well enough to form a valid opinion of my own. These are not IDW, or even Marvel comics, nor do they pretend to be. This particular comic represents a certain style that you may not like, but I think it's pretty blunt to call it "total crap".

And yes Rha, this is indeed a public forum. And that usually brings out the worst in people. I'm not saying Heavy's opinion is wrong, but the way I see it, it certainly is ill-informed. Apart from that, I think some people on here might do good to tone down their attitude (and language) a little.
