I'd been seeing the TFOne Transforming Optimus Prime mask sitting on the clearance aisle at Walmart for a month or so at $20. I told myself if it dropped to $10 I'd buy one. Today was that day.

I impulse bought the Geewun Gears.
A shame for the separate chest part.
I'm debating myself is I either open it very carefully to fix it, then close the packaging to hang the thing on the wall, or just open it as usual and chug the packaging in the bin.

My friend was hunting for Retro Gears at Walmart, but he found s few Retro Bees instead! So he bought his and a spare for me, na don my end, I found him a Gears to trade him.
So, this extra Bee of mine can remain sealed on the wall!
I'll have to find a sealed G1 Bee Walmart reissue to go with it.

Got my first Yolopark model kits.
TF1 D-16, Orion Pax, and B-127.
They were on sale at 20$CAN each instead of 30$CAN each. Even with the 15$ of shipping fee, they were worth it.

Imported from Japan, one from eBay, the other from Mandarake, arrived at the same time, Mainline deluxe Mirage from ROTB, both the normal and "invisible" versions. I finally have them. Both are simple, but fiddly to transform. The clear one had some mold flashes on his right arm's mushroom peg that needed sanding though. Still, that car is beautiful.
Oh, and SSQ from Walmart. I'll be repainting his bot mode for sure.

I received my Omega Prime set last week. Luckily there was no pre-existing damage, but I still performed the operation. I could tell once the figure was open that if I had tried to collapse the torso, the inner piece would have been too wide and sheared the inside tabs. Fortunately I have had plenty of practice in taking apart Transformers toys, so there was no real trouble. Ultra magnus was perfect and the full Omega Prime is fantastic to behold.
Also, yesterday, I finally made time to open my Legacy Blitzwing, who I ordered from BBTS on a whim while he was nearly 50% off. The pile of loot he was part of arrived back in March, which I was surprised to discover was over two months ago already. Plus, looking at my records, I actually bought him back in January! I hadn't realised I had been waiting so long for him. Poor fella. Can't get no respect

My ROTB Mirage sudden obsession comes to an end with 3 packages that arrived at around the same time.
I lost hope to get the SS ROTB deluxe Mirage at a normal price so I ordered the K.O.
Then, the next day, SS Mirage popped in at Mandarake for 3K yen. Even with shipping, it was just around 5$CAN more expensive than a normal deluxe total. And finally, to get a screen accurate bot mode without having to pay the 3-0 tax, a Blokee ROTB Mirage. Ordered from AliExpress because no local stores had it and Toys R Us are r3tards.
I'll make a thread comparing the KO SS Mirage and the real one. This will be interesting.

From Hobby Search, I got my Megodzillock!

The deco of the dino mode is fantastic.

The blasts effects are perfect for the atomic breath, but they are extremely unstable on the gun. At least, it give Megs a nice "flame sword."

I received my Amazon Wreck-n-Doom Topspin and Spinister set, or TopSpinister set. Nice redecos. Topspin will go with the other diaclone decos and Spinister will give the Siege version the boot to the sell on ebay bucket. I like this deco better. I don't really care about the target masters that much, so I'll probably keep these ones and sell the Siege versions as well.

I just picked up Comics Shockwave from GameStop. A bit expensive at 60$can plus taxes, but oh so worth it. This thing is a beauty.

Picked Nightshade up for $10 (Canadian) at q discount store! They also came with a torso but I don't care about completing that BAF. There was also an Earth Spark Bumblebee and Shockwave there but I just wanted this one. Love the art deco look gheh have going on, makes me think they'd fit right in on Batman The Animated Series.

What's neat about Nightshade's altmode is that it was acquired by Nightshade scanning not an actual owl but a stone statue of an owl. So Nightshade actually transforms into an owl-shaped piece of art.Fires_Of_Inferno wrote:Love the art deco look gheh have going on, makes me think they'd fit right in on Batman The Animated Series.

Well now there's a unique idea! I suppose if the Predacons can scan fossils for their best modes then why not, right?

OK, haven't posted a haul in too long.
Got two more Blokees TFOne blind boxes from Walmart and finally got a B-127! Also got a second Hound. All I really need now is Sentinel Prime.
From Pulse I got Slingshot and Air Raid. Air Raid is not great but Slingshot is currently Deluxe of the year, he's such a great figure, especially that jet mode!
From Amazon got my Spinister vs Top Spin set. And my Star Optimus Prime is apparently showing up today according to UPS.
From Amazon Japan Got the two Godzilla crossovers, Megatron and Prime.
And finally from BBTS I got a Transformers G1 Action Battler Part 01 Box of 6 by Tammi Space. They're basically in the same vein as the blind boxes from Blokees or Yolo Park, but even smaller at 2-3". Haven't actually opened them yet so I don't know who I got or if they're even any good, but they were only $30 for 6 so the price was right.
(Edit: Forgot the Godzilla stuff)

At my local Marshall's and Winners, I found a whole lot of Earthspark deluxes at only 10$can each instead of the usual 30$can. That price is the equivalent of a Core Class figure at 60% off.
That price made the pronoms thing totally irrelevant.

Sonic Collaboration set showed up from Target today. Sonic feels like a cross between SS86 Bumblebee and another figure I'm thinking of that I just can't place that has shins that swivel around (I'm drawing a blank). All in all, pretty standard transformation for most modern Transformers cars. Tails is a little more interesting, a wholly unique transformation. He's like a "Deluxe Plus", a lot of people looking at pictures were calling him a Voyager, he is not. He is very hollow, there's nothing on the back of his legs, they're just open and no way to fill them since they have to fold into themselves. They really cut as many costs as they could , for example the lower wings are pegged on, and the part they're pegged to are also pegged on. The tail wings are also pegged on so they pull right out when you try to split the tail, need to work a work a fingernail in to the seam to split it. It's an interesting figure, but it sure isn't a Voyager!
Also I have to wonder if Sega was unhappy about Sonic being smaller than Tails because in the box they're positioned with their heads at the same height, but there's a big box around Sonic's feet to hide that they aren't reaching the bottom of the package like Tail's do.

Found a Hot Wheels Ultra Magnus where I least expected. We have a local store chain in the state called Reny's, it's sort of like Ocean State Job Lot, but with a lot of local stuff (got me some local mustards and a blueberry vinaigrette among other things). Despite there being like 19 stores in the state we've never had one in my area until a couple months ago (moved into a former JCPenney that closed last year) They have a strange toy section with a ton of Lego, Barbies and Hot Wheels, but the rest of the toys were generic things like dinosaurs and soldiers. But there was Magnus, just hanging out on the front of a peg, and at his normal MSRP to boot. Big win there!

I love finding treasures in the least expected places. For example, some decade ago, I once found a HFTD Battle Blades Bumblebee at a pharmacy. I already had it so I didn't bought it, but I should have.

My father's day haul was the Sonic collab set from Target and the Carnivac/Fisitron set from amazon. I really dig the Sonic set, both figure are really nicely done. Now I want a retool of Tails into movie Ransack. I loved that scout class figure and regret selling it years ago. A modern update would be awesome.

Nabbed a Bonecrusher from Walmart Monday.
And I found this lying scattered about the sidewalk outside a shoe carnival, weird..
Not sure if it's all there(I doubt it), but, after walking past it then walking past it half hour later again, eh.. I picked it up. It was littering
I also cracked my first pack ofMTG: final fantasy, pulled Excalibur 2, which coincidentally I wanted for a white/black deck.. so yeah Bananas🫠

Even if the kit is incomplete, if you're into customisation, there would be many interesting parts in this box.
