Hi, I have read here and there Toys R Us is releasing Masterpiece Grimlock for 2014. I have been trying to find out when this will happen because I have been kicking myself for years for not buying the toy during the original release. I actually held one in my hands at the store and decided I would come back later.

The only information I can find on the release date is "soon." Does anyone know when this figure will be released? Will it be online or just in stores. The TRU in my area recently moved and the store is much further away from me. I am not able to look on a regular basis. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Yes, Masterpiece Grimlock is slated for retail release as a Toys "R" Us exclusive, along with Masterpiece Prowl. As for the exact date of his release... we're in the dark, too. However, we can assume they'll be either in June or July.
