all of my decepticons got there butts handed to them cause of no backup, how do i get them to survive?

Hey there, welcome to the game! It just takes time to build up a good character. Courage/FP are arguably the better stats for a new mech to have then Str for Ram, FP for Str and Int for Repair, Speed helps for the Avoid tactic.

acidrun won his first mission, me happy, but he got hevily damage, some cr chamber time will do him some good

Dump everything into Intelligence and then leave all the rest of your experience unspent. That's what I do.

If overemphasis on intelligence were the problem, INEPTibots seems like a poor choice of names - it should be IMPOTENTibots.
