Given that Japanese honorifics don't often have English equivalents, keeping the -sama would have made more sense.

Nothing. However, Lady Gaga is a pop-culture junkie; the music video for "Telephone" displayed a recipe that included tiberium as an ingredient, so I wouldn't put anything past her.
