Indeed. My girlfriend is coming again this year, and she is not a TF fan at all. The only series she can watch without falling asleep is Beast Machines! She had a blast last year though, shopping and hanging out. Be sure to stress to her that there will be plenty of wives/girlfriends there, eager to hang out with her, and maybe that'll aide her decision.

I figured I'd give this one a well-deserved bump, as we are only 8 days or so away (at least for the diehards coming in Wednesday)

How's that situation going? I have a feeling if she did come, she'd realize that there are plenty of wives and girlfriends theere and that she would have much more fun than she'd think. Plus, big cities are always fun to explore.

Im flying solo this go round. Sucks too, if I'd had known that, I'd have just caught a flight there instead of driving. With gas prices the way they are, it may have been cheaper.

I kinda prefer to drive. I enjoy long roadtrips. And spotting fellow fans on their way to BotCon.

Deal! And of course i'll return the favor! Only 1 more week! We really both can't wait (me and my fiance) we've been talking about it alot the last few days. Even though she's not a huge Tfs fan like me she still likes the cartoons and movie. She loves Grimlock. It will be a good time with good people!

My wife got into it because I was but becomes a bigger and bigger fan all the time.

And Grimlock is one of her favorites as well!

That's awesome! It's kinda the same for me and my fiance. She gets more involved and becomes more of a fan because of my interest in Tfs.

I will be there with the wife as well, it will be a very fun time, so I hope to meet you all. Less than a week to go!

Dude, there was a six story mall with a Nordstrom's attached to the convention center/hotel last year.

EH, my wife likes Target, so I'm not worried. I thought there was a mall very close to the Hyatt here too?

I just hope all our wives and girlfreinds don't simultaneously conspire to take all our cash and credit cards and go on a massive group shopping trip....

Me and my significant other will both be shopping fools next week! Although she'll be buying clothes and acc. and i'll be buying Tfs! That is unless she finds a cool Grimlock shirt or finds something really cool at the con. She just likes to shop!
