Man, I love the looks of this set so much! If they wanted to go back and redo the entire line like this I'm all for it, I'd totally buy them all over again. God Fire Convoy really held up well after all these years, better than, say, many of the Unicron Trilogy figures did.

I ended up going with AmiAmi because I feel like even with the shipping it'll still come in lower than the $280 of domestic sellers and probably show up sooner.

I didn't really know who Satoshi Hashimoto was at first, but after years of hearing Terry Bogard shout "Burn Knuckle!" in tons of fighting games and then hearing the Fire Knuckle clip I knew exactly who Hashimoto was.

I'm actually surprised that the toy is using the full "Arm Ladder! Set On!" version of "Fire Knuckle!" since it was only ever spoken once in just the first episode.

Ah, you misunderstood me. Fire Convoy used "Fire Knuckle" multiple times throughout the show, but only in the first episode did he ever say the full attack command of "Arm Ladder! Set On! Fire Knuckle!" All other times after that use in the first episode had him simply yell "Fire Knuckle!" without the first two parts.

Though, there was one time in episode 5 where he instead yelled "Honō no Punch: Fire Knuckle!" when using a different "punching" version of the attack, and another instance in episode 18 where he used the normal version but strangely called the attack "Barter Knuckle!" instead.

Love this figure. But have all versions of him, and paint scheme don’t look any difference...or different enough to spend $279 on. Use that money for encore brave max. Wished they sell sword by itself. 3p?
