TRU has really hurt a lot of things besides just availability, stock, and Trypticon. I feel these Amazons, the movie masterpieces, and the SS Thundercracker have all suffered massively, and it is such a kick in the nuts that Amazon is having these issues with a highly sought after figure they have as an exclusive.

Don't blame tru, amazon does this with literally anything you can pre-order, they're kinda infamous for it

I'm blaming Hb for not delivering the necessary stocks ordered/committed by Amazon.

All reasons why, tall order though it is, we as a fandom should band together to make Bain Capital pay the piper. And to throw Fortress Maximuses at Jeff Bezos (Of course, there's as many reasons to do that as Bezos has dollars).

He's not blaming TRU so much as bemoaning the fact that their demise means that Scamazon is ending up with a lot more exclusives. And they're suffering because of Scamazon's rubbish practices.

I bet that what Hasbro didn't realize (and what FunPub didn't realize 8 years ago) is that adult fans and collectors will want duplicates of Punch-Counterpunch for the collections, so that they can put him with the Autobots and Decepticons in his proper guises simultaneously. Essentially, a large portion of buyers for this special edition figure will want TWO instead of the usual one. Let's hope that Hasbro can simply do a second run. FunPub managed to do that a few months after their original presale for the Transformers Collector's Club Punch-Counterpunch sold out in only three days.

At this rate I'll be stuck with getting the Japanese version.

But they already had the committed orders in their records via Amazon. Not to mention they, Hb has already delivered stocks of him at U/S Singapore. This means then that, well, there should have been enough stocks or just "delay" the release. With a committed release date.

If there were no reports of P/CP showing up elsewhere, the alibi would have had held.

JP online stores like Amiami often moves up the release date when the supplier can't commit.

This would have been the best way of handling this **** than just selling the item to a select lucky few.

It's basically the same price, you'll just have to deal with shipping and whatever. If Amazon does have to do another run and not just waiting for more to hit inventory then it could be a long wait with Takara Tomy currently monopolizing the molds.

I have checked with the product specialist team, and they have confirmed that the product will be available and in stock with in next 2-3 days, and once the item is re-stocked, your item will be shipped in priority.

You know what would have been cool instead of the extra backpack piece & the Prime Master guy? If they gave Punch a gun that *transformed* like he does -- black on the outside and gold on the inside and that it somehow folds on itself. This way he'd have a unique gun for each faction form and you wouldn't have to "store" one while using the other.

That's good, because I just finished talking to a rep and he says my order isn't due for delivery till Nov. 1. Awesome job, Hasbro. If this is true, we should be seeing new info by next week?

I am hoping this is what happens with mine, I don't want to lose my Punch

Mine seem like the shipping tracker is advancing: with any luck there is an actual figure somewhere along the way.
