I wish Walmart would put a price on Hot Rod and Starscream in their listings so we could see how far off RK's prices are.

On the notion of Raiden (and having gotten a couple of high quality KOs)... the design could barely be deemed a Transformer. It exploded into 22 lego sized parts that you reassembled into a robot. Of course, I'h STILL certainly buy a reissue of Raiden if they put one out.

If any bot is overdue and begging for a redesign, I'd love to see Raiden join the other combiners.

Maybe Hasbro will notice that it would be a great pairing with a Titan Omega Supreme, since he has tracks. (???) Ensuring the trains could ride on his tracks would add play value and display well.

HEY HASBRO!! Here's a cool idea for ya! (See above)

And of course, still not sure why they haven't done Artfire, since the Inferno mold is available. Please add Artfire to the G1 reissue collection!

Not gonna happen. They already confirmed he will not be rereleased so as not to hurt the collectability/rarity of the G1 version. Think of the anger of fans who spent a fortune.

I believe you when you say they said that... but they do it all the time. From Stepper on down to this new green Unicron. I'm sure those original TEN (?) exclusives will go down in price. But they have some slight differences, so it seems like a good compromise.

I think that's where the answer is. Making some deliberate, slight changes — like Tampos — so you can tell the reissue is not a vintage toy.

Yeah... while I'm siding with gothy (don't forget Targetmaster Hotrod, and Golden Lagoon MP-10), the new Encore Unicron is quite different from the Lucky Draw.

Exactly. Like they dix for Platinum Predaking. Gold instead of yellow.

I'd really like a reissue of G1 Star Saber and Victory Leo. But all colors would be shiny metalic paint. =P~

This wasn't their original line on the subject, as Arron Archer said that Artfire was on the schedule had Commemorative Series continued (source: TFWIKI)

I feel like there is some hope that we'll see G1 Grimlock in the future, just not this immediate future('mold degradation' being a semi-myth - look at the reverse engineering on reissue Soundwave for example).

I'll bet we see Bruticus. Again. Because that toy just refused to fkkn die.

The G1 Dinobot molds are said to be lost/stolen, not degraded.

So.....did anyone notice how Walmart's listing changed to "This item is no longer available
We're unable to show you buying options for this item." for the G1 Starscream reissue?! WHY?! WHY THEY DO?! At least before there was some hope, now there's nohopenohopenohopeatall :-(

Or maybe there is hope and there's just too many people (like me, continuously refreshing the page) checking the site maybe? Who knows.

I need the Starscream. Yesterday.

I've been going back and forth FOREVER on the Takara Collection version, but if I can get this one for what should be a relatively decent price I'll be happy. I'm not sure how or why I don't have G1 Starscream (other than my old G1 Pretender) but I really need to pick this one up.

Yeah, that's why one of its arms was shifted down at BotCon 1996 when that that prototype was first on display. The arm was too flimsy for it to stay up in its proper position (the properly-transformed one seen at BotCon 2009 must have had its arms held up via some extra support).

A prototype remain a prototype. Minor adjustments would be enough to have a kick-ass rétro looking Unicron. I'd pay the sure 200$ the thing would cost.

I wouldn't worry too much bud. While watching TRU.ca, things go in and out of stock, up and down from the site all the time. Especially when they're new. It's not even out yet so it'll be back
