HasbroToyShop.com now ships to Canada. This is the moment Canadian fans have been waiting for but as always there is a catch to it, shipping is a little expensive and not all products are available outside of the US.
Each item tells you if it can be shipped or if it's US only, in bright red letters.

Why can't we just get a HasbroToyShop.ca? You know, one that ships from Canada to Canada? But I guess if they did that, it wouldn't have half the stuff the US one has and it would take 4 times as long to get new stuff in as the US one.

About frackin' time! I hopefully can get some exclusives shipped to me especially now that my bro has moved back to Canada from KY.

Longs for the days of G1 where we only had to worry about Megatron, Soundwave and Laserbeak wanting to be Autobots, Swoop calling himself Tracks and Slingshot calling himself Slingslot!

I'm picturing this force field that prevents certain items from crossing the border

Maybe they don't like our money, or Canada is not a big enough market for them.
You're probably right, by the time HasbroToyShop.ca has them in stock, our Wal-Marts and TRU would probably have them on clearance

Damn straight. If anyone ships with UPS than I wouldn't bother at all. Unless you like paying extra fees for no reason.
A quick look seems to show that:
a) they're shipping with FedEx
b) half the things I was interested in looking at are US only.

Re: HTS now ships to Canada
I know, if anyone ships exclusively through UPS I don't bother. The brokerage fees are ridiculous. I almost freaked when BBTS recently started offering UPS service to Canada because they automatically switched mine to it for some reason. Luckily all it took was an email and it was back to USPS.
I took a quick look on HTS but saw nothing indicating they ship here, but I didn't even go so far as adding things to my cart. *shrug* It would be nice if I could get harder to find items there.
