I have a sonic stun-gun in my weapons inventory. What should I do with it?

Should I hold on to the Sonic Stun-Gun in my inventory? Or should I sell it? I can't seem to equip it, and it is not on the list.

Sell it you need 9 Firepower and 1 skill to equip it
