i need help in identifying this transformer

i need help in identifying this transformer

hi guys, thanks for taking the time to help me out. i found this optimus prime in an old toy box of mine when i was a kid. ive searched everywhere and couldnt find anything about him. it does say hasbro/takara 1987. its seems pretty old, but its for sure not the G1 optimus prime. i hope someone out there has an answer. thanks for your time. i greatly appreciate your help. peace.

It looks very much like a power master optimus prime but im not sure.

awesome! thanks for the help. i looked powermaster optimus online and i believe it is the powermaster optimus prime, you probably didnt recognize it cause i was missing tons of pieces. haha. thanks for the help. peace.

Yep that is powermaster optimus prime missing his engine and large head when he turns into the larger prime. My neighbor had him that why I would know him anywhere.

powermaster optimus prime

Hi!

I just bought myself one of those from ebay!! so cool to see some more pics before it arrives lol

Restarted collecting a few months ago after an unexpected score at a car boot sale re-ignited the old flame ( i no longer have what i used to as a kid thouh, Damn those teenage years!! )

Anyway ive really enjoyed lurking here amazing site/forums but thought it was time to step out of the shadows so to speak!

That's one of the most adorable mistransformations I've ever seen ! His legs are happily dangling from his trailer body - That's just too cute. :lol:

haha, yea, i was dumbfounded as to how it really worked, then when i saw pics online that he was supposed to have an extra head i realized that the smaller head wasnt suppose to be used in his mega transformation and the legs go behind the cab. but yea, when me and my bro found him, we were like "WTF!! how does this sucker work!" haha.
