Devastator can have fewer combiner bots. Anywhere from 2 up.

hasbro is so f'in cheap they couldn't make a bulldozer, cement mixer and dumptruck?? They gotta have molds for those somewhere in all of their toys. That is so cheap to repaint the others black. So &$%#$&&* %ay.

This is really starting to piss me off. This isn't G1 anymore folks. "Bonecrusher" doesn't have to be a neon green construction vehicle and he doesn't have to be part of Devestator. For crying out loud, this is a new continuity, the franchise doesn't need to use G1 as a precedence for friggin' EVERYTHING.

Bonecrusher is Bonecrusher. In the movie universe, he's a new character. Everyone has to STOP comparing everything to G1, it's really starting to drive me mad. Bonecrusher doesn't need to be neon green and purple, he doesn't need to be a Constructicon or construction vehicle, he doesn't need to be part of a combiner.. The only thing Bonecrusher NEEDS to do to be called Bonecrusher is to CRUSH BONES. And I'm pretty sure someone in that bus broke something when he smashed through it.

Geez, why aren't people as upset that "OMG we can't have Bruticus Maximus in the sequel because Blackout is dead!"

you may like combiners running around with 1 arm but I don't. They should've used someone else to later get killed by prime, they made a poor choice if they want to have a future with combiners. It's not that hard to pick a different decepticon - no excuses. Not to mention the movie did a poor job on background/development of the Decepticons. They just 'showed up.'

Well the bus had dark windshield so I have no idea who was in it and I didn't heard people screaming during the catastrophe.

i'm not saying it has to look exactly like G1, but having less than six robots for devastator and/or making up new robots just for him is plain stupid. Kids today won't really know, but it'd be a hell of lot cooler for them when they find out about the G1 devastor and see the similarities in design if they make the new one right. There's a way to do it and keep the new fans without alienating the hardcore fans. That's all I'm saying.
Who cares who was on the bus? They couldn't of kept the PG-13 rating if they showed 50 people blow up and die on the bus - as cool as it might've looked. This is like "how old was the ostrich at the car dealership in the beginning?" Who the f cares??!!!

How is that? A combiner would work perfect with only 3 or 4 bots. If anything, 5-6 robots is stupid, because all you do to have them merge is one makes the body and the others make the limbs. That really won't be too exciting to watch on the big screen. They should do more like the BW combiners and really mesh all the bots into one, instead of having one big robot with four tiny robots attached to him.... lame.

Devestator has been overdone and overused. He's gotten like 6 new toys in the last three years. I want something new please, no more Constructicons for at least 5 more years. This is another example of fans just not being able to move past "the first of anything" - G1 was the first series, so many think it was the best. Devestator was the first combiner just because he was one of the first...

It's called "using your imagination"! You don't have to see the people in the bus, they are "implied".

When you watch the movie and you see the bus blow up or cars flip over, you assume there are people in them (you know, DRIVING) without actually having to see them. It would be strange if there were a bunch of empty cars driving along the highway. My god, I just used the bus as an example of Bonecrusher earning his name by his actions, not simply by sharing his name with a "Geewhun Constructicon LOLZ"

Its not stupid, its marketing, business 101 create new ideas to darw in more customers. Us as fans at time seem to forget that this is all a business its about keeping things fresh. Hasbro's in it to make money, so they will make new characters to sell more incarnations of a mold(repaints). Dreamworks is in it to make movies that make money. See a common thread here? Its all about making money for those involved, new fans = new money.

Fanboys dont equal the dollar signs that companies want when they make projects like these. Its little timmy and johnnys mommy who is in the sights of these companies.

Bottom line is they dont need bonecrusher back, hell they dont even have to bring back optimus if they really don't want to. They can create all new robots for us to drool over or to complain about and create a buzz that in the end will have the same result.

As the Transformers collectors club is proving, you can make a combiner with any characters you want now and people will talk.
