Weapon: Null-Ray Rifle
I'm glad they included the comparison shot with Nemesis Prime, this is a good size for the seeker (and not so good for the Autobots). I think a little more needs to be done with the face, either some tweaks to the sculpting or a little extra paint app. I don't have a problem with the expression as much as how it translates to a 3D product.

Thanks Daimchoc!

I quite agree.

I hope they include an extra head with a neutral expression, much like they did for the Ironhide & Ratchet.

Still don't understand what void is this supposed to fill?
It's Masterpiece sized, but isn't G1 accurate so most MP collectors will likely skip this in favor of the official MP. It's too big to be classics.
And it doesn't seem to be based on any comic incarnation of Starscream. I could understand the existence (and would likely have jumped on it) had it been based on the original idw F22 design, but this is well kinda weird.

Wow, the only thing they have in comon are the alt-mode, the wings and the chest - barely.

I just realized something, put a clear plastic dome over the head and it looks like a Buzz Lightyear Starscream hybrid freak.

So the height is great i was just looking at all my hasbro seekers and the size of these guys saddens me a great deal but that new pic of the proto type compared to the art has put me off all together about this project.

I agee. I'd rather have a G1 updated look than an Animation-ish Leno chin.

I really like the size on this guy compared to the voyager. However, I am perfectly happy with my classics seekers, including the new Hunger set.

One void it fills is for those who want larger than deluxe size seekers. It's an inch to short for MP but looks to be around the same height as Hegemon (and their takes on Ironhide and Ratchet), making him a reasonable size for Classics Decepticons, if you're building them in a slightly larger scale.

I agree that the head is the weak point, and would like him to be at least half an inch shorter, but overall I like this.

My wallet breathed a sigh of relief when I saw these were MP scale. Deluxe might have sold me like it did with the Tetra Jets. I do agree the face is too TF Primish with the classic superhero jaw. (aka Jay Leno)

This shot clearly shows Starscream to be a head height over Nem Prime which puts SS at large Voyager or Ultra class?

Just because a figure is released at a certain height, does not make it an instant MP scale. >:oP

Technicalities aside, the point most people are getting at is that they are too damn big to be displayed with classics. We can call them Barbie doll scale if it sounds better. MP Scale figures make great centerpieces for a coffee table, but don’t appeal to many collectors who have too much invested in a classics scaled collection.

Hexatron is the exception due to Sixshot’s huge size in the comic books. So he scales with classics nicely.

Actually they are a fairly good size when you take into account that fact that most of the Classics Decepticons are Deluxe class and should've been at least Voyager class from the start. When you look at it from that point this starts to look a lot better. Granted it is a little bit too tall, but not so much that it is a pass (for me at least). I can understand not wanting to replace so many seekers, I'm hesitant myself, but his size is closer to being spot on than the Deluxe seekers.

The Deluxe Seekers are too small, but this thing here is too large, the seekers don't tower over Prime or Megatron. Voyager would have been fine, but no.

:-?
The Deluxe Seekers are too small and deserve a proper Hasbro update, as does the old Voyager Optimus Prime which itself is a touch too small also.
The old Voyager Nerf Megatron is a good size and has almost always been depicted as being a touch taller than Optimus, but not the difference we have all lived with over the 'Classics' years, which is why I recon the 'Voyager' Optimus needs an update and size increase. ;)

As this new iGear offering is only in the proto/test shot phase, perhaps they will listen to feedback and scale Starscream down a touch? Just a touch though! :-$

I'm still digging this. I'm not concerned with scale. Hell, I don't even have my Classics etc. Seekers displayed with other bots/cons on my shelves. I have a Seeker shelf dedicated to them, so size is irrelevant. I just think these look like cool toys with a nifty design. I just wish the faces looked better. I don't like the TF:Animated look it appears to have going on.

Not at that price, and not as a set. You could get their MP seekers for just about that much, so this really needs to be about $20 cheaper per figure.

$100 per figure and having to buy them in a set make these hard to justify when they are replacing figures not filling gaps.

I want them, but as usual iGear are doing it the stupid way and making me hesitate :BANG_HEAD:

Agreed, if they at least did an early bird special and knocked $60 - $80 off I'd not be able to resist. As it is atm I'll be watching and waiting as there seems to be a good chance that BBTS will be putting these on clearance.
