The funny part about that is I believe they would sell A LOT more if the pair could be picked up for under a $100. But, I believe $75 is the minimum they will sell for. Consequentially, many people will pass.
MINDVVIPE wrote:ouuuccchhhh.... thats so brutal.... I might still pick up one, and that will have to be Ironhide, just coz I like destruction more than repair. Maybe I can sell my Universe Ironhide for a Universe Ratchet, hah.
zodconvoy wrote:I actually like this. It's very IDW miniseries Ironhide. If the price doesn't kill me I'd pick up Ironhide and Ratchet both.

Second of all: how much ar e these going to be?
amcgrath929 wrote:How well will these look with the MP figures. Will Ironhide and Ratchet be close to scale with the new MP-10 Optimus? If so, I'll buy them but I can't have an Ironhide on my classics shelf that's bigger than my Classics Prime. That would bug me too much.

Yes, these will be in scale with the new MP-10 Optimus Prime (Convoy) AND the PP-01 Faith Leader. Both will be similar in size.
Ratchet and Ironhide will be approximately 7.5 inches tall, which makes them a PERFECT scale for the PP-01 and the MP-10 New Masterpiece Optimus Prime (Convoy).

No way can I shell out Takara prices for a toy let alone the fact that Takara doesn't put stuff out on any consistent basis. And if they do, it's got Prime at the end of its title. Hasbro Masterpiece's are damn near non-existent. There's what, Optimus, Grimlock, Starscream/Skywarp, and now Rodimus. Good luck getting your hands on those before aftermarket mark up. iGear's Ramjet is looking damn sexy and so are those rainmakers. This Ironhide and Ratchet look pretty clean too, and that's saying a lot for an 80's minivan. Yeah, iGear rips off everyone's designs but if Takara and Hasbro put stuff out more regularly, affordable, and available, businesses like iGear wouldn't get the attention they get.

My best estimation: about the price of the PP-01 faith leader and the PP-03 seeker jets.

There is a lot of internet "bandwaggon" hate. See, little boys have nothing else better to do than complain, and since they can hide behind their computer screen, and there is no one to put them in their place, they cry on the internet like a little girl....
