the head piece / face shield broke on my human alliance sideswipe tonight while i was taking pics. not a happy camper about it. need to buy a new one asap so i can finish pics for his gallery and comparison pics for skids gallery. anyone know where i can find a human alliance sideswipe in the morning?

Thanks for the heads up. I picked up HA Sideswipe to replace my one that broke last night at the Des Plaines / Rosemont Target.

Not much of interest. Lots of Transformers (at least for a Kohl's). Mostly older stuff. Some TFA deluxes. Lots of Robot Heroes and Legends. Stopped here to see if they had new Mini-Cons. Nope. Did see a Stalker Scorponok there for anyone who was looking for him.

Meijer in Rolling Meadows

Lots of HA Bumblebees. Several Devastators for $99.99. Thought he'd be more at Meijer. This Meijer had a total of 5 Mini-Con 10 packs. Left 4 there for all of you. Thought about snagging an extra one to keep sealed in the box but I'll wait until they've been out for a while to make sure everyone gets a shot at one first. Meijer was having a $2 off sale on most Transformers figures.

New buy-1-get-1 (BOGO) RPM 2 packs. Looks like a good deal. I think they had Devastator here but I can't remember. Still some Skywarps and Ramjets.

I did not see Bruticus Maximus at either of the Targets in the list above. I was also looking for the new ROTF Robot Heroes 2 packs but didn't see those either at the stores above. Not a bad run in 1.5 hours.

I swung over to Golf Mill to see what those stores had. Jackpot at Golf Mill Target ... they have an end cap with Bruticus Maximus and a few Superions. I think there were at least 8 Bruticus Maximus there when I left after I snagged one. There's also 1 set left of the new RPMs 2 packs featuring Landmine vs Rampage and Ratchet vs Megatron (who I was surpised to see was a slightly different color, more greenish like the Voyager class version).

Nothing new to report at Walmart or TRU across the street.

Finally, the Target in Orland Park has ROTF Bruticus Maximus.
An endcap full of them and a reload of Superion, about8 each at least.

Nothing else especially new, but I did see RPM two packs of Barricade and 76 Bee, Optimus and Bonecrusher, Jazz and I think Brawl, and Rachet and someone else. Sorry don't remember who.

Got some RPMs for my boy. They are some sweet cars.

Ryan, how much was the mini-con 10-pack at Meijer?

Thx for finding Bruticus, I'm going to try to swing by tomorrow. Grindor will have to wait, I want that combiner bad.

EDIT- also, any sign of bad QC on Bruticus? I'd read about one of the figs that had 2 left legs or some-such. How are the paint apps? Any of the sticky paint issues like ROTF Superion?

i think it was the same price asa voyager (21.95) which is really good making it about $2 a figure.

i have no idea. won't open it until i take pics of it which is probably a few weeks away. paint apps seem fine on mine from what i can tell. which figure has been reported as having two of the same legs?

Vortex FWIW. I don't think you'd be able to look for thsi in-box since the smaller bots are packed in alt mode, right?

Target at the HIP (Irving Park Rd and Forest Perserve Drive) in Chicago/Norridge has a whole bunch of Bruticus'. They had a ton on Saturday when I got mine and had to go back Monday, and they're already running out, so hurry.

Uber-score tonight! Target on Higgins near Woodfield had ROTF Grindor, and I asked a very friendly guy in Electronics to look for Bruticus for me, and lo, he brought 4 out from the back! I swear I feel like taking the day off work tomorrow to play with these guys.

EDIT- they also had 3 or 4 ROTF Long Hauls, and Human Alliance Bumblebee and Sideswipe.

'Far as I can tell, the Vortex leg issues may be isolated, because I have no problem with mine, or at least I have not noticed any leg oddity. I'll double check when I get home, but yeah, they are packaged in alt mode.

Guess nobody has seen anything since Monday huh? I did see Activators Soundwave and Fire Blast Grimlock Friday at the Crestwood Target. Also in the Northwest Corner of Indiana (Hammond, and Highland, Deluxes were on sale for $10. Other than that nada!

I saw the new Activators at the Mt Prospect Walmart on Thursday night last week. Found the "Back Road Brawl" set with Hoist and the alternate head version of Mixmaster at the Randall Rd Toys R Us (in Algonquin?) yesterday afternoon. Two were left there. The head looks terrible on Mixmaster. Wish they had used the version from the Voyager class. Hoist looks great.

The Wal-Mart in Elk Grove still had four each of Ramjet and Skywarp along with the usual shelfwarmers (Chromia, Wheelie, etc...). I haven't seen anything new pop up in the Elgin area in quite a while.

The TRU at Golf Mill has 3 remaining "Gathering at the Nemesis" sets after I grabbed 1 of them. I also saw the Back Road Brawl (? - i think that's the name) set featuring Mixmaster and Hoist there.

I'm looking for the Robot Heroes Shanghai Shootout set, Devastation set and all of the new 2 packs including Chromia/Megatron, Barricade/Ratchet, Jolt/Ravage, and Mixmaster/Ironhide. I'm willing to buy them online at retail if they can be found. BBTS has the Devastation and Shanghai sets but I'm not willing to pay an additional $8 over retail plus shipping to get them just yet.

I'm kind of enjoying this slow period for the moment. Looks like we'll have plenty to buy in November/December once again.

Target Rosemont had Animated Activators Soundwave and Day-Glo Grimlock, or whatever he's called. Ick.

Also a single ROTF Leader jetfire, if anyone still needs him.

And I was hoping TRU would put the Master of Metallikato set on sale sometimes soon, but now w/ another similar set out, I doubt that will happen. Really want both those sets, but I'll sell the G1 Mixmaster.

KMart in Lisle or Naperville, on Ogden Ave. near Naper Rd., had one set of the mini-con 10-pack. I left it there, tho- $27, ouch. Not bad on a per-unit basis, but it was a lot to drop all at once.

They also had one TFA Wreck-Gar. He's cool.

Thanks for the heads up. I stopped by my local Kmart in Des Plaines last night around 8:30pm. They had 2 of the War in the Skies Legends sets. I picked one up. There was one left.

Also stopped by the Walmart in Mount Prospect last night. They did not have the new Walmart exclusives but they did have two sets of some new Robot Heroes figures (Ironhide vs Mixmaster and Jolt vs Ravage). I already had these sets ordered from HasbroToyShop.com, but couldn't resist buying them in person.

After that, I drove out to the Walmart on Touhy in Niles. Jackpot. They had a huge display in the aisle for their exclusives. Tons of Fearswoops. Tons of Universe Ultra Class (Hardhead, Skyfall, and Powerglide). Tons of Devastators. Tons of new Mega Powerbots (Devastator and Jetpower Optimus Prime).

Not a bad night. Found everything I was looking for. I ordered Burning Fallen and Target's Legends 5 pack earlier today online. Yesterday, I ordered Hasbro's new bargain pack of the 4 new 2 packs of Robot Heroes plus the Shangai and Devastator scene sets.

I think that covers everything new until the Holiday products start showing up. Well, unless Target gets their Leo Prime BWII exclusive in stock.
