This is kind of late, but as of yesterday, the Bloomingdale TRU had three Rodimus Minors and four Animated Ironhides aside from the usual. The Elgin Target had nothing new.

Woo hoo! Finally scored Terradive at Algonquin Target today! There are 2 Tomahawks and E. Jolts still there. Man, grocery shopping on Halloween was the best idea ever. Practically had the whole place to myself this afternoon!

I was there this morning and didn't see them. Did they move the TF's at that Target?? The only ones I saw were a pair of Hailstorms, a Sidearm Sideswipe, and a couple of Generations Primes as well as one Battle Ops BB on a back endcap.

No, they were in the same spot as always, both in the aisle towards the front of the toy section, and at that back endcap. Sounds like you may have only seen the endcap. If you'd walked down the aisle it was next to, there were a ton of TFs from the first wave of both Generations and HFTD, as well as a bunch of wave 2 HFTD, plus the 3rd wave that I listed, along with a bunch of scouts, legends, powercore combiners, Voyagers, and Leader figures like always.

Found a HFTD Tomahawk at the 24 hour Walgreen's in Mount Prospect at Golf and Elmhurst last night. Price was around $14.

sorry about my toy sightings listing yesterday my 3 year old was on my lap and wound up listing everything 5 times
i went to the wal mart super center in crystal lake at 8 am had the toy section to my self and to my suprise they had a case of the new voyager wave
i was able to get the bonzitron and highbrow
now bonzitrons recolor is awesome
but the highbrow is awesome in vechile mode but kind of sucky as a robot
i also found the new generatons line and bought the blurr and and dirge both are awesome and when you turn the rifle into the sniper with the two small guns you can postion blurr to lay on the ground and look like a full flege sniper pretty cool plus my three year old love driving him around lol
there where 1 blurr 1 dirge left
and plenty of sideswipes megatron soundwaves and darkmounts left also left the voyage battle hook prime and new fallen
i hope this helps someone find what the need

Dang, I need to make a point of checking on Crystal Lake Walmart more often. That one kind of fell off my radar for a while.

Apparently there are people finding Tomahawk and Terradive at Aldi stores in some states. Maybe worth keeping an eye out if you're looking for 'em.

Re: Illinois Transformers sightings
Yeah, I'm Algonquin as well. I've never had any interest in Highbrow, that is one ugly, awkward looking toy. The alt mode is neat, but the robot looks like a mess.
I'm very happy to say that Terradive is incredibly awesome, on the other hand!

One of these days, Rockford stores may get something more than wave 1 of anything. God in heaven, this city sucks ass.
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.

It's too bad you aren't closer to the Chicago area stores because we always seem to get things first in the country.

ToyNK near Schaumburg can be pretty handy for some things, depending on what they get in. I'm thinking I may end up getting the Takara Lugnut instead of the Hasbro version. It's just so bland looking...

I agree. I can't believe a city the size of Chicago doesn't have more to offer in the way of collectible toy stores, let alone Japanese imports. When I first moved here 8.5 years ago, I was very excited after finding JP Gift in Arlington Heights and Quake Collectibles in the city. I thought it was a great sign that I had found those stores so quickly. And then I discovered, aside from Toynk, that was it! I can't believe that Michigan has more to offer than Chicago does. Not to mention how JP Gift went south in a hurry.
One of my goals is to do a brick-and-mortar toy store (and possibly comics as well) to rival Time Traveler's in Berkley, MI near Southfield -- but done right and with a friendly atmosphere.

Re: Illinois Transformers sightings
Well Crystal Lake was a big, fat bust. Nothing really new or interesting at Target, Walmart, or TRU. Was hoping to find Soundwave, but no such luck. The only somewhat notable things were four Voyager Optimus Primes at Walmart, three Elec. Jolts at Target, a few Animated Rodimus and Ironhide and a repacked Bludgeon in a Banzaitron box at TRU.

And I just saw a Cybertronian Soundwave at the Mount Prospect Walmart last night around 9pm.
FYI ... the 24 hour flu's going around. My family has gotten it one-by-one, myself included through the night. Ugh. Feeling pretty rough today but not like last night. Keep those hands sanitized my Illinois friends!
