I was just in Rockford from 12-3pm and snagged a Thunderwing and Cliffjumper at TRU. And I got the last Jazz(2nd one as my first has bad paint scuffs) and Tracks at the E. State K-mart.

With the exception of the Protector armor I think I am pretty much done for the year. Just gotta find a Marvel Universe Thanos and I am set for 2010.

Yeah, I'm pretty much done for 2010 myself. In fact I've had to sell some of my movie line stuff cause I'm literally running out of room [apartment is SMALL >.>]. And with January fast approaching I gotta make room for Scourge, G2 Optimus, Perceptor, Wheeljack, Kup, Lugnut, the BumbleBee release, Wreckgar, ect lol

I thought I was done buying this year after I got my Hybrid Style Convoy [the mini MP prime] but then I saw Thunderwing yesterday. So NOW I'm done with all my TF purchases this year, oi.

Oh yeah, I forgot that I preordered the Rodimus/Cyclonus box set that's being released this month.

KMart sale paper says TFs are Buy 2, Get 1 Free. Given the elevated price of Deluxes, this might make them about the same as other places. I might try to swing by, see how it shakes out.

Algonquin Kohl's has one Tracks, two Jazz, plus Fallback and Mindset (1 or 2 of each, I think). Algonquin TRU has a few Terradives and Tomahawks. Algonquin TJ Maxx has some Animated Voyagers and ROTF deluxes, but none of the Walmart Exclusives (was hoping to grab a Powerglide or Skyfall).

If you're looking for Powerglide or Skyfall. The Marshalls on E.state in Rockford by Games Workshop have 2 Skyfalls and 2 Powerglides for 16 bucks. HA figures for 20 and a boat load of Shockwave, Starscream and Skywarp voyagers for the animated line for 10 bucks.

Walmart on E. State Street in Rockford had one generations Soundwave yesterday, so I snagged it.



Toys R Us on State Street had 3 Generations Megatrons, and I bought them all today... and, they were all hidden behind movie toys on seperate peg hooks... I feel like I ruined someone's sneakiness :-\



Now, when I was at Walmart today (When I got Soundwave, they were unloading trucks, and it said they had 40 more generations in the back), the whole area had been flexed over with movie toys (ugh). Talked to the dept manager, and he said thatthere was still another, locked truck to work through, and it'd be worked out throughout this week, so keep checking. With these two, my generations collection is complete for this wave, but, thought this might be helpful to anyone looking.

Thanks man! It's appreciated. And yea, until reading this thread, I had no idea that Marshalls sold TFs.

Also, went back to TrU in Rockford today just to check in, and the only generations figures were Darkmount and Skullgrin. Walmart still has nothing but Movie figures flexed out.

Even though I didn't want him, I think I'm going to pick up the generations Cybertron Bumblebee just because I already have classics bumbleebee and cliffjumper, so, I think adding cybertron bumblebee and cliffjumper, and then the next wave classics repaint of bumblebee (are they doing classics cliffjumper too?) will make a nice little repaint section on the shelf (I **love** collecting repaints).

haha this is true. I'm "that idiot", but, I digress as there are definitely worse things that I can spend my hard earned money on!

The one I really want to snag is the Galaxy Force soundblaster, because it would look SO good in between the Cybertron line Soundwave and Universe Blaster! I just can't justify spending $170 on a voyager class figure like that

Yea, the fact that I'm posting this from m6 phone is a PITA. Especially since we were watching a movie at 8, the power went out till 10 45, its back on and no cable and internet! I'm doing laundry that should've been done hours ago and workout and work in the am.

Hahaha. The cable's definitely not back on for me, but, I remembered my phone is rooted, so I'm just using that to tether internet.

Btw, I got Generations WFC Bumblebee from Rockford's State St. Target tonight (They're down to 9.04 reg. pricing, if u guys didn't know: Also, outside of bumblebee, they just had skullgrin), and, I can't lie, I'm not the biggest fan of his head sculpt (can't WAIT for cliffjumper though!), but his alt. mode is slick as all hell. Definitely my favorite WFC Generation figure so far in terms of alt.! Also, looking at his feet, I was thinking "Oh Lord... g2 scourge again" in terms of standing, but, low-and-behold, he's pretty damned variable in terms of foot support for stances! Definitely a worthwhile buy, and I can't wait to have him and WFC Cliffjumper by their classics counterparts (and hopefully, sooner than later, their classics repaints too!)

Also, I'm going to ask elsewhere on the forums, but, since I'm active in this thread, have any of you seen Thunderwing yet? I don't want to have a bias about a figure I haven't seen, but the color of the actual figure in the package seems so damned far off from the promo pics, that I really get a bad gut feeling on it. Of course, toys rarely look like the promo pics, in terms of paint finishing, but, this one's finish and colors look so far off in the packaged pics I've seen that it looks cheap. Let me know, bc it's a nice design, and I'd like to be wrong.

Thunderwing has made random pop up appearances all around Rockford and Loves Park. Just check everywhere, including the Walmart and Sears/Kmart store in Loves Park. Also the Target out in Machesney, I found mine in the TRU on E.State. Another person found theirs at the Target across the street from TRU, the trick is persistence. And you may want to try Walgreens, I've found a couple gems there in the past, so I keep checking them every once in awhile.

Also, I'll be flat out honest Thunderwing is -sort- of bland in compared to most other Decepticons. But he IS a good figure, he just seems...I dunno...incomplete like he's missing something or he should have been a voyager. BUT I'm a sucker for plane-formers on the Decepticon side anyways, sort of have an armada in the works. So he's a necessary part of the air forces since Megatron has control of the ground.

Now I'm the only one waiting for Skullgrin, Cliffjumper and Thunderwing.

No sitings in the NW IN area for me of any of them.

Anyone have any luck finding them near the IL/IN border area?

Found Generations WFC Cliffjumper at State St.'s Target in Rockford. There was one, and I snagged it.

Man I'm itching for that guy, I really like that mold.

Walmart near Golf Mill Mall had a boatload of PCC Steamhammer and Grimstone 5-packs, $15. I got one of each, they're really cool.

Honestly, the picture doesn't do his headsculpt, or his vibrant red colors justice! He literally makes WFC bumblebee look like a crappy repaint side-by-side. He's the first TF I've gotten from this line that I've just thought, "perfect: no improvements needed". Hasbro killed it with that one.

In case anybody is interested, the Toy'r'us in Des Plaines has gotten a buttload of terrordives and Tomahawks in. Seemed like they have justbeen put out or they're the shelf warmers for the season.

Des Plaines? You mean Niles, near Golf Mill Mall? Or Schaumburg, on Golf Road near Woodfield? Or do you mean KMart?

Target in Hoffman Estates (intersection of 59 & 72), has 2 Skullgrins, 1 Dirge, and 1 Cliffjumper. I managed to get the last Thunderwing, so I'm finally caught up for now.

Target in Elgin (Randall Rd & Rt. 20) has three Skullgrins, 2 Cliffjumpers, and 1 Thunderwing along with the usual suspects.
