I have an extra one that I bought off HasbroToyShop.com, though I would prefer to sell Dirge and Blurr as a set. It's $25.98 for the pair + tax + shipping. If you want it, send me a PM with your email address so we can work out the details.

Ooh, I'll have to hit the Golf Mill Target for Blurr (any left?), that's the last Generations fig I want (skipping Dirge and Thrust).

Seibertron wrote:Congrats on finding out-of-stock figures there! I love hearing stories of people finding things long after they're available somewhere.

Around mid-2008 I found a sealed Energon Overcast at Target Rosemont. Box looked like it had been shot out of a cannon into a quarry, but OC was minty. Blew my mind.

No Blurrs, sadly. I don't have any interest in that mold, but I'm kind of surprised how hard it is to come across.

I got lucky and found a Powerglide at Marshall's in Streamwood last week. Man, I'm glad they got this guy in because I'm liking him a lot more than I thought I would! Especially in the G1 paint scheme. It almost made me get Skyfall as well, but then I remembered Algonquin TRU having a good number of the Darkwind version of that mold, so I grabbed that instead. Had absolutely no interest in him before, and now I couldn't wait to get him!

Marshall's had Skyfall or Silverbolt? If they had Skyfall, that means they've got the Walmart exclusive Hardhead as well, which I'd love to get again for the Head Robots figure.

I actually just got my Head Robots conversion today and it totally improves Universe Hardhead. Aside from the plastic around the Headmasters hips being a little too thin for my comfort, it's a great set.

BTW, you can transform him with the new head on with no problems.

just checked out the RTS galleries for Rodimus and Cyclonus, can't believe they are the exact same as the 3-pack except for the rub signs. Kind glad I passed on doing an online order. I was even gonna grab them at retail for the matrix, but I'm in doubt of that now.

While my Galvatron is complete garbage, I'm glad I picked up the Challenge at Cybertron 3 pack instead of waiting for this. Rodimus and Cyclonus look way better with regular faction symbols as opposed to the rubsigns. It may have cost more, but it was worth it over all.

If anybody is looking for ROTF Bludgeon, the Bloomingdale TRU has at least 15 of them along with a few Recon Ironhides. They also had four Terradives and two Tomahawks.

I have not ... I'm not sure they've been spotted anywhere lately.

Speaking of sightings ... anyone looking for Animated Wreck-Gar? I saw 10 of them for $12.99 at the TJ Maxx on Rand in Palatine along with 2 Blitzwings, several Atomic Lugnuts and the rest of the regular fare that can be found at Marshall's and TJ Maxx.

I found Skyfall and Powerglide at those stores, but no luck on Hardhead who is what I was really looking for. I'd gladly trade Skyfall or Powerglide for a Hardhead. I'll even take one loose!

Streamwood Target had a couple of Skullgrins.

Just thought I'd fend this off before Illinoisans go crazy over this law talked about in this article:

http://www.wqad.com/news/wqad-state-wan ... 6927.story

I've had a lot of experience dealing with this as an e-commerce website programmer (my primary job from 2000 to 2009). I'm not a lawyer but have had a lot of experience. Websites must collect sales tax for the state in which they do business (i.e. have a brick-and-mortar store). The sales tax is calculated on shipping address, if I recall correctly. Most reputable websites do this properly (i.e. Walmart.com, ToysRUs.com, Target.com, etc) and the ones that don't you probably don't want to buy from anyways. I'm sure the state is far more concerned about going after retailers who don't collect sales tax than the individual tax payers who somehow didn't pay tax on a website that should collect tax.

If you buy something online from an Australian retailer, you don't have to pay sales tax. If you buy something from Amazon.com, I don't believe you have to pay sales tax because they don't have a brick-and-mortar store in Illinois unless you buy something from a seller in Illinois, but even then I'm pretty sure they have to have a brick-and-mortar store here in Illinois (though I wouldn't be surprised if that part of the law changed to just being located in Illinois).

Other examples ...

Wisconsin Transformers fans have to pay sales tax on BigBadToyStore.com.
Illinois Transformers fans should pay sales tax on Toynk.com

While it might apply to some eBay purchases, I think most of our purchases as collectors are most likely fine as they are. I wouldn't get your panties in a bind over this.

I've got a few Hardheads up on eBay right now. If they don't end up going, I'll gladly sell you one for regular price.

Thanks for the perspective on the tax stuff too. Sounds like it's nothing to worry about too much. Seemed like something that would be too much trouble for them to figure out anyway.

Mt Prospect Kohl's had several RTS figures earlier today: 2 Turbo Tracks, 2 Fallbacks, and 1 Mindset. No Jazz. I stopped there looking for the PCC Wave 4 two packs, but saw no sign of them there.

Not too far away! I like that Downer's Grove are for toy hunting. Nice that there's a few Walmarts, two Toys R Us, and a couple of Targets all within a 10 or fifteen minute drive of each other. That Butterfield TRU seems to always have pretty good stuff when I'm on top of it.

I was really looking forward to the comic that came with it, which I thought was a deal since it was a full blown full size IDW comic (that would've sold at stores for $3.99). If you take the value of the comic and the value of the diecast Matrix, the set's price with two figures you already have doesn't seem that bad. I'm very curious to know if the Autobot and Decepticon symbols are painted on underneath the rubsigns. I keep going back and forth in my mind about which way would save Hasbro money.

Wow, 10! Fortunately I am going into the area later today. Hopefully there will be some left. Man, seems like I'm always the last to know where the new toys are at. Combined with the fact that the Northshore sucks at getting anything new means I shop online a lot.

Awesome to see you posting here, it seems like we keep getting more and more Chicago/Illinois based Seibertronians showing up in this thread out of the blue.

Ok, last night I was out and about, and Target here in Rockford had quite a few generations figures:

Soundwave, Megatron, Cliffjumper, Thunderwing, Skullgrin. It stinks though, because I'm actually looking for another WFC Prime to get a Scourge commision done to it!

On ordering end though, my protector armor has shipped. Cybertron Galvatron MisB is due to come today, and my graphic novel of the movie shipped! So good times!

Off topic, but two Chicago firefighters died this morning in the line of duty. Please pray for their families and colleagues- I can't imagine a worse time of year for this to happen. If you don't pray, please think good thoughts. A very good friend of mine, who introduced me and my wife, is a Chicago FF. It always freaks me out when this kind of thing happens.

Also, please consider making some kind of donation for the families of fallen firefighters.

Rosemont Target had 1 Mindset, a couple of Generations Cliffjumper, Thunderwing, and Skullgrin.

Mt Prospect Kohl's had a TON of Reveal The Shield ... I counted 7 Jazz, 5 Tracks, and probably equal numbers of Mindset and Fallback. If you're looking for those figures, I'd recommend getting them there. Not too bad at $11.99 each. Even less if you have a Kohl's card and have an anytime discount of 15% or so.

I found about the same assortment at the Kohl's in Buffalo Grove on Dundee Road. They had a ton of Jazz, Turbo Tracks, and Mindsets. They also had a mix of Wave 1 and Wave 2 PCC 2 packs as well.
