dahpadre wrote:Finally saw the full sized HA's today. Pretty nice IMO. Also scored an uncircumcised Crankcase, and Powerglide. Anyone needing PG, there were at least 3 more I think at my Walmart. Saw the legends 3 pack, pretty nice, but all I want is the Rodimus, I guess I'll go back for one in a couple days. Last but not least Star Tits Prime was in the house! Doesn't look so bad, might go back for that as well.

And so completes my collecting for right now, I'm honestly starting to think I might end up selling some stuff. Money is getting increasingly tight and the job prospect is still pretty sketchy at best. =/
But I need some advice, what would be the easiest way to determine what to sell? I have a mix of Generations and Reveal the Shield, which I REALLY don't wanna get rid of, but I also have ROTF stuff that you won't find on the shelves again, around here at least. I also have a couple Universe figures, HardHead, Vector Prime, Prowl, Bluestreak and Smokescreen, that I thought about. But then realize its impossible to find those too in stores I mean.
I'm sure you can see my dilemma, its tough to decide. I have a "Prime collection" that I refuse to get rid of as well, as it spans from Universe to Generations to Titanium, Reveal the Shield and movie verse. Plus he's just always been my favorite character lol.
But please any advice on how to decide who to sell, I already have an idea on who I want to keep. But even the ones I want to sell is just a hard choice, cause I did buy them, cause they obviously were the coolest looking and I liked the characters.

Anyway. I picked up DOTM Shockwave and Skyhammer at Target Rosemont this evening, at abot 6 they had 1 or 2 of each I think- I was running late for a thing so I literally grabbed them and kept going, hardly slowed down. Thanks Ryan!

The thing I find disturbing about your ideology is that you are willing to sell RTS, GEN, Universe, Etc... to get money, yet you waste it on POS Transformers like Prime w/ Comettor. I would not have given $5 for that crap. You need to save your cash for important things, like Generations Warpth.
F'in kids........geez.......

HEY! I just don't nit pick over something as tiny as stars, I just liked him for his voyager scale battle hookedness. Plus its a Prime figure, so he was meant to go in my collection and you show me the day Warpath shows up in Rockford and I'll acknowledge your comment. But considering that all the good stuff goes to the Chicago area first, I'll be buying my Warpath online along with WheelJack when I get the chance too.

Right on, I'm in Algonquin as well, so we can keep each other up-to-date with sightings around here.

Well my decision to sell some of my stuff just got the justification I WASN'T looking forward too. Took a friend home today, was heading towards the 173 exit, when I switched lanes and got behind a slow moving semi. Not even two minutes after I switched lanes, a rock or some sort of object shot out from under its rear wheel and smacked against my front wind shield. Spider cracking it all along the passenger side.
Best part about this story, my insurance won't cover it because I was only paying for liability....so there goes two hundred bucks right down the tubes.
