Once again, not to be funny or offensive... I wish I **could** make the drives sometimes.

I'm pretty sure, the more I look at this figure, that it was intended to be an update to RID Scourge. I was excited about this figure at first, but the more and more pics I see of it, the more boring/lackluster it looks to me. Kind of blah ... but I know the inevitable Scourge repaint (and possibly Ultra Magnus) will kick ass.
I think it'll make a decent scourge... I don't think it'll beat G2, bc honestly, the G2's mold of scourge is wicked and timeless... but, the G2 optimus gen. ver. is so ugly, that I think repaints have no choice but to be better :-\
Also, collection update for myself. Gf got me this yesterday as an Xmas gift:
http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200 ... MEWNX%3AIT
And the guy lives like 15 minutes away, so it'll be here tuuuuuuuueeeeeesday!
Also, having Cybertron Galvatron shipped today too. So, this'll be a good week.
On Friday, ordering the Hybrid Style G1 convoy, and I'm pretty stoked for that.
Still looking for Generations Blurr though... can't seem to find him anywhere.
TJ Duckett wrote:Thanks guys for being understandabing about my last post... I had a sinking feeling it'd be taken the wrong way, but it's appreciated that you are all real people who "get it", haha.
@Seibertron - Thanks! For some reason, I'm on this kick, and now I'm just getting figures I've always wanted but have never gotten. I'm also looking at finding alternators Ravage (the "all fours" version), and the crystal Cybertron Convoy/Wingsaber Xmas set to flash out those molds repaints to at least 3 a piece.
Also, I was actually talking on Tfw2005 about how it sucked not to have a THS-02 gallery on here before making that purchase! So good stuff!

Glad to hear that my galleries are useful with your purchases. A lot of people have given me grief about not having a THS-02 gallery. I avoided him for a long time because I didn't have anywhere for him to go in the galleries on the site. Due to the site restructure about 2 years ago, I have a spot just perfect for him under the general "Takara Miscellaneous" section. Just have to get a decently priced THS-02b and I'll be good to go.
I'm also looking for that Galaxy Force Sonic Convoy set that you mentioned. Don't pay more than $200 for it. I've been watching it on eBay for a really long time. It's very tempting to give in and pay $300 for it, but I've seen about 1/2 dozen of them go for $200 MIB or MISB.
As for Alternator Ravage, I never once saw him or Rumble at Walmart. I actually imported mine from the UK, where he showed up first, dreading finding him at Walmart for $20 or $25 after importing him for $70, but I never once saw him. Glad I made the investment.

Nice, thorough gallery, Seib. I especially like how many photos you took of the different versions of Rodimus in the armor. The Universe version (Battle at Cybertron) surprisingly doesn't look as clashing with the colors as I expected. What's your opinion of how it looks in person?
TJ Duckett wrote:Dude, your galleries aren't just useful, but they're a "must have" resources to people who invest their time and money into this, IMHO. For most people, like me, who don't have anything to look at besides a box at most, and, hell, even a picture of a box if you're ordering it, it's awesome to be able to have such detailed, OBO pictures at our disposal before making these purchases.
So thanks for taking the time to have ALL of this, including these forums available for us, free of charge. It's an awesome thing that you do man.

That's awesome to hear. That comment might've just made my day.
I'm glad that you found Seibertron.com and have started participating on our forums. That means a lot to me and it's fans like yourself that keep me motivated to do all of this. Nice to have another Chicago Seibertronian here as well!

Good stuff. You deserve all of the props in the world. Do you guys ever do get togethers, or expos, or anything like that here in IL.?
TJ Duckett wrote:I think Schaumburg's a great location. I love love LOVE gameworks! Even though I work weekends, if it's something that's more night oriented, I could definitely go.
TJ Duckett wrote:Yea... they actually have a really NICE bar inside. That's why me and my guys enjoy it, because, even though I personally game, most of them don't, and, it's one of those places that has something for everyone... like a lot more of an adult version of dave and busters with way better games.

nilocomic wrote:Algonquin Target has finally caught up on things! There were two Dirges, two Thunderwings, three Skullgrins, two Cliffjumpers, some Tomahawks and Terradives, and one Red Alert. No Blurrs, sadly. I don't have any interest in that mold, but I'm kind of surprised how hard it is to come across.
I got lucky and found a Powerglide at Marshall's in Streamwood last week. Man, I'm glad they got this guy in because I'm liking him a lot more than I thought I would! Especially in the G1 paint scheme. It almost made me get Skyfall as well, but then I remembered Algonquin TRU having a good number of the Darkwind version of that mold, so I grabbed that instead. Had absolutely no interest in him before, and now I couldn't wait to get him!
Seibertron wrote:Marshall's had Skyfall or Silverbolt? If they had Skyfall, that means they've got the Walmart exclusive Hardhead as well, which I'd love to get again for the Head Robots figure.
Congrats on finding out-of-stock figures there! I love hearing stories of people finding things long after they're available somewhere.
