Well my decision to sell some of my stuff just got the justification I WASN'T looking forward too. Took a friend home today, was heading towards the 173 exit, when I switched lanes and got behind a slow moving semi. Not even two minutes after I switched lanes, a rock or some sort of object shot out from under its rear wheel and smacked against my front wind shield. Spider cracking it all along the passenger side.

Best part about this story, my insurance won't cover it because I was only paying for liability....so there goes two hundred bucks right down the tubes.

What are you selling? I might buy if we can see some stuff. Bummer about your windshield, but you could wait to fix it until the fall. Just don't go into winter like that, cause it will get waaaaay bigger.

Count me as curious as to what you are selling as well.
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

Picked up Roadbuster and he's easily my favorite DOTM Deluxe Class yet. His alt mode is great, and in honor of that I'm drinking an AMP Energy (sugar free of course).

new to the forum here. but been reading for months on end.

Thought i'd share what i've found the last few days.

Pretty much the run of the mill selection with the normal DOTM toys out there in the stores.

Since today was a day off.. figured i'd hit the rounds and started with the toys r us in crystal lake, managed to pick up a laserbeak and nitro bumblebee. Was hoping for some of the trans scanning ones but no luck.

Kmart is right next door basically so got in there and got an autobot daredevil squad set.

Target has been poor on their selection.

Walmart on 14 has the same as everyone else.

Toys r us on randall, about the same selection as the other on 14.

But at least i have 2 laserbeaks.

Welcome! Do you mean the Walmart on 31 in Crystal Lake? Cool to hear about Laserbeak being around here already. I'm in a wait-and-see mode for the repaint with new head.

Walmart in Algonquin doesn't have Warpath, Wheeljack, or Thundercracker anymore; they were gone before I got there.

Algonquin Target really does have a small amount of DOTM compared to Walmart, and their deluxes were really well picked over. I grabbed the last Skyhammer there.

Yeah, that side of 14 is a shell of what it used to be back when Walmart and Cub Foods were there.

I saw the TRU legends. The BB is the best of the bunch. Starscream is not even translucent. Also saw for the first time the cyberverse OP with trailer. Real tempting, might get it later. Oh this is the TRU in Burbank 82nd & Cicero.

Got some of my stuff up on Ebay, anyone interested in giving it a look go ahead. There's a mix of Transformers, G.I.Joe, Spiderman and Predator stuff. I'll have more transformers up by tomorrow, along with a random assortment of toys that I've collected over my short period of time.

Sucks I gotta sell this stuff to make up for the fact that I can't find work in this crap hole town...

Happy Friday guys! Any of you going to BotCon next week?

Found the new TRU 4 pack Legends/Legions exclusive at Golf Mill TRU. Had about 10 of them after I left. I didn't see any of the wave 3 deluxes or anything else that wasn't out last week.

2 Shockwaves at the Golf Mill Walmart. 3 sided end cap is up now as well as their full blown regular TF section. Don't forget to look for their older TFs toward the end of the aisle past or near the Marvel stuff.

1 Shockwave at the Golf Mill Target. Didn't see any more of the clearance figures here.

Just a couple of tips about your items ... I recommend using just about every character that eBay allows you to enter in the title to help make sure people find your items. This is your chance to sell your item at a quick glance to people. For example ... Transformers ROTF Bludgeon & Banzitron! should be Transformers ROTF Bludgeon Banzai-tron 100% complete. If you need to shorten it up, "Transformers" is the same thing as "Transformer" on ebay searches. I'd also recommend putting the word "Transformers" in all of your Transformers auctions. The text in your descriptions is only found via searches if people check the box to include descriptions in the searches. Most eBay searches are performed simply by searching the titles.

Hope this helps! Happy selling.

ROckford TRU had the Scanning four-packs on the shelves. Wasn't impressed so I skipped em...but may go back tomorrow as they had the Cyberverse Prime with Trailer. Nothing new Generations-wise. However, my buddy up in New Berlin, WI said that he found Warpath and Thundercracker at the Burlington WalMart up there...
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

TRU in Downers Grove, Butterfield Rd., also had a few of those Legends four-packs. I really want that Cybertron Starscream re-paint looks really good, as does the repaint of Universe Bumblebee. The other two are just OK IMO.

I had to make a run up to UL in Northbrook yesterday, so I hit the Target and Walmart on Lake Cook Rd. Nothing new, all the first-wave DOTM stuff, still great prices at WM. I was looking for Laserbeak and Thundercracker.

I like those TRU Legends, but the storyline is kind of goofy. They tried portraying the G1 Legends Bumblebee as Bumblebee's Cybertronian mode and that that version of Bumblebee is what turned into Movie Bumblebee. * sigh * Same with Starscream. I would rather have had them portray them exactly as they were instead of trying to fit all four toys into one nonadhesive story.

From what I've gathered, Laserbeak and the rest of wave 3 have only been showing up at TRU so far, and some people have had to ask for the TRU employees to check the back to turn these up.

Don't forget that Seibertron.com also has the more "official" sightings section on this site as well to help you find figures.

I was finally able to find Laserbeak Friday night at the Matteson TRU. I passed on the rest of his wave mates, cause I don;t think it will be a problem to get them later. Now I'm really on the lookout for HA Roadbuster. Can't wait until he gets spotted in IL.

Target's website has HA Roadbuster listed as Out of Stock, but shown as Available at several local stores. DPCI 087-06-2312

The same status is shown for Leader Ironhide (087-06-2294) and Cyberverse Megatron w/ trailer (087-06-2311). HTH!

The HA and Voyager figures share the same DCPI, so it could be a shot in the dark to come up with those specifically.

Got the Cyberverse Prime and Megatron figs as well as Powerglide at the Algonquin Wal Mart yesterday. Still have a ton of Powerglide figs as well as about 15 of the WalMart exclusive Prime/Comettor packs.

yeah, in my experience, their website is only really good to tell you if they have that certain size class usually. their individual character status isn't accurate.

Walmart on Rt 83 near/in Villa Park has a bunch of the Bumblebee/soundwave/Rodimus Legends sets, about 9 or $10. Many of the Voy Optimus/Comettor 2-packs, too, can't beat that price. I bought one of each set. Why indeed is Rodimus Orange?

I checked out a local TJ Maxx for the last RTS wave w/ Wreck-Gar, but nothing. They did, however, have Animated Shockwave (gray), Skywarp, and Blitzwing for 12.99, nice boxes too. 22nd St near Midwest Rd in whatever suburb that is, FWIW.
