I don't know what the deal is, but i am finding all kinds of Warpaths, TCs, and Wheeljacks out here in California. It sure sucks to see what we're missing back in the Illinois stores...

Did luck out and find a 9PM showing for DOTM here in Napa tonite. Taking the wife and can't effing wait!

Target State St: Wave three deluxes

Found Hatchet and Blue Steel Optimus Prime at the Elk Grove Kmart on 83. Down the road at Walmart, I found HA Roadbuster who I snagged for a Seibertron.com staff member I'm doing a trade with for 3 MOSC Galaxy Force scout class figures.

That Kmart had a two sided display in the middle of an aisle which had the new Cyberverse Commanders, Voyager Sentinel Prime, Fireburst Optimus Prime, and a few Leader Class Ironhides. I grabbed the last Hatchet.

I don't know if any one posted this, but the Wal-Mart in Des Plaines has restocked a ton of Generations Figures. I know they're not exactly hot right now, but they were hard to get. I seem to recall that a lot stores said they'd restock them in july.

I found:
6 Thundercracker
3 Wheeljacks
2 Warpaths
and a couple of Scourges.

Does anyone have a spare Windcharger or Preceptor by any chance?

Edit: they've not just in the usual toy asile, but rather in a end cap that is across from island full of Wal-Mart exclusive DOTM toys.

Where is this other end cap at? I'm at mt prospect Walmart right now but don't see any other end cap that has tfs other than one at end of main boys aisle.

Oh crap. Dude I am so sorry. That's actually the Wal-Mart off of Golf Road in Des Plaines. I am totally sorry. If I go by there any time soon I will pick you up something if you want me to. PM me.

As for the Mount Prospect Wal-Mart. I was actually there on Friday.

They had two Human Alliance Whirls and two Backstops.

They also had two of Dark Of Moon "Twilght" Optimus Primes there. It is actually a really sweet figure despite the paint job, and for 17.99 with a free lunar repaint of Armorhide(?) this guy is not a bad figure at all. It actually has the Matrix, a more accurate transformation sequence, the battle hooks, and Prime without the battle mask on. In my opinion, I find that it goes really well with the Voyager Shockwave and Megatron from this movie. I can't see myself buying the new Voyager Optimus because it's not accurate looking and I have no idea why the "Gas Tanks" are so oversized if they're not rocket boosters or transform into the Buster Cannon.

Also the Comettor figure has a really snazzy paint scheme and looks great with other Autobots. Makes me wonder if there will ever be a con repaint.

Also word to the wise the Human Alliance Whirl figure has a problem in the unofficial "gatling gun" mode without the pilot. The handle bars are oversized, so it won't be able fit in the 5mm holes that make up most Transformers figures, unless it is a figure with an open "fist". Then again I haven't tried it yet with a figure with a open fist. Edit: the actually Mechtech peg works just find, I am talking about the handle bars that are the shoulder in Robot Mode.

However, the problem with Whirl's handle bars is easily fix with sand paper or a iron file. The gatling gun mode looks great with Warbot Defender (Springer). It really is a nice touch that Whirl can help you re-enact that moment from LSOW. Now if we can get an Overlord figure.

Has anyone seen Hatchet yet? Also does anyone know when we will get the Cyberverse Guzzle figure?

As for the Kmart, they had another Ultimate aprime on the shelf and 2 more in the back according to the sales rep. Also they had 4 Hatchets, 2 leader Ironhides, and at least 1 each of the voyager Sentinel Prime and Fireburst Primes. They have a pretty decent sale makes prices the cheapest out of the big retailers. U Prime you can get for $74.99 if you use site to store pick-up. I didnt trust it at first, but he has a unique UPC, as there are no other transformers that size or price.

I got this off Walmart.com last week. It's a pretty cool figure, not the best, but pretty cool. Reminds me of a Powermaster Optimus Prime or Armada Optimus Prime like toy. I wish the toy's knees bent in the Ultimate combined mode. They don't unfortunately. The toy itself is massive, as is the packaging. It will be an impressive display piece in our collections. I'm in the middle of finishing up the photos for his gallery now.
