Leader Class Ironhide at Des Plaines Kmart as of 9:30am. I put it behind the Leader Class Bumblebee that was there. Nothing else new to report here.

When I was at Rosemont Target yesterday morning, they had a shopping cart full of Transformers signage and display pieces. Huge four or five foot Transformers banner that will probably replace the hanging Cars sign after this weekend. I stopped in there this morning to see if they had put the signage up yet, though I doubted they would, until after Cars weekend. Keep an eye on your Targets for a huge Transformers promotion around the release date of the movie.

Any other takers on going to the Rosemont theatre next Tuesday for the 9 o'clock show?

Target was open yesterday morning surprisingly. Didn't see the light pole by your house but saw plenty of other destruction so I'm not surprised to hear there was a lightpole down. Pretty crazy storm. Can't believe the lights are still out at some of these major intersections near us. Glad to hear that you and your family are OK, Gus.

Walmart in Orland had at least 2 each of the Warpath, Wheeljack, and Thundercracker Generations wave. First time I've seen those at retail.

Does anyone know where the Regal Metropolitan theater in Chicago is? Paramount put me on a press list for DOTM at that theater but I have no idea where it is. Google wasn't of much help either.

I'm pretty sure that's the Regal 14 on North Western.

Ah, Paramount emailed me back to let me know they hooked me up with the wrong theater and will get me the Chicago info tomorrow. Whoops!

Walmart in Villa Park, Rt 83, had 3 Voyager Sentinels Primes, of which I bought one. They also had 1 Leader Ironhide, plus all the current DOTM stuff, and lots of it!

I got a card from Target good for an additional 5% off any purchase, on top of the 5% I get w/ my Target card. So I really really need to find Leader Ironhide in a Target store now, before the $10 off coupon expires in a couple weeks.

This will work out a little cheaper than even Costco's price; at this point, I think I'm just being stubborn, but there it is.

Anyone see him in-store, please shout it out!

Seriously, man, just go get a Leader Bumblebee or Sentinal Prime with that stuff at Target, and then when you finally find Leader Ironhide at Target, just return the first Leader toy you got with that Ironhide receipt. Nothing wrong about it, you're not returning a ruined product or anything. All it means is an extra trip or two to Target.

Walmart in Niles, on Touhy, had 3 or 4 each of Gens Thundercracker, Warpath, and Wheeljack this morning at about 9:30. No DOTM Fireburst Voy Optimus or Voy Sentinel Prime.

Thanks for the tip and text, Gus. I stopped by there tonight on our way back from dinner with the in-laws at Lou Malnati's in Lincolnwood. Mmmm ... gotta love the sausage and pepperoni pizza! Only Wheeljack and Thundercracker were there when I got there around 10pm. Grabbed Thundercracker but left Wheeljack there since I already got an extra from HasbroToyShop.com. Saw 1 Fireburst Optimus Prime there on the aisle display on the side facing the front of the store. Didn't see any other Firebursts and no Voyager Sentinel Primes.

Really looking forward to seeing DOTM tomorrow night at the AMC River East. A little nervous about being on the press list for tomorrow instead of actually having a ticket in-hand, but hopefully everything goes smoothly. Going to call AMC River East tomorrow morning to find out if press seats are reserved seats or if it's like general admission where i need to get there a couple of hours early. My wife and I are planning on leaving for downtown around 4pm.

Speaking of pizza, I'm having trouble finding anywhere out here that has good "normal" pizza. Yah, I like the "chicago" pizza places (Giordana's, Lou Malnati's, Moretti's, Bacci, etc) but I kind of get tired of the Chicago pizza. I feel like I'm regressing with my pizza tastes and have been wanting the nationwide chain pizza places more lately (like Dominos, Pizza Hut, Papa John's, etc). Anyone have any suggestions for good pizza places? I think I prefer pan pizza lately. Open to suggestions!

EDIT- Leaders at KM are $45. I saw that IH too, but one of his chest halves had popped off and was loose in the box. I wouldn't be surprised if someone wiggled it out of there and took it.

Spotted Fireburst Prime and Voyager Sentinel down here in Normal @ Target, I believe. (I hit a lot of stores yesterday....can't recall who had what exactly). Let me know if you're interested - I can make a trip back out there.
