It would be easy to jump on you and say it doesn't get easier, but in some ways, it does. My 6yo can do a lot for herself now, which means daddy gets to relax a little while she's dressing herself or cleaning up.
Enjoy this time, tho, they grow up so fast it makes your head spin. And happy Father's Day back at ya.

Agreed. Very Happy to all dads. IT's extra special this year as my wife and I found out this past Friday that she's pregnant with our first child.
Hey, congrats, that's great news! And Happy Fathers Day, Dads!

Ryan, the Kre-o Prime, Scream and Sentinel haven't been seen near us as of yet(aka Chicago area). Matteson TRU had Bee and Prowl and that was all that was left there by the T-Formers section.
Marshalls and TJ Maxx near me have nothing RTS in stock as of this moment. Found a Trailcutter today and that was it.
So, if anyone wants to swap a Grapple for a Lugnut I'm game. Also got Legends Bee, Trailcutter, Scream, Prowl and Megs I would love to trade for a Windcharger also.
PS Ryan, when I go to shift work schedule, we will work on a Seibertron Gathering at my house in August at some point, just got to know schedule first.
Reading since #4 released in 84
GM for life.
If it's not G1 it's not canon

Congratulations. Becoming a parent is a game changer. It's one of the most incredible and amazing feelings there is. I don't know about the rest of you Dads, but I kind of look at the world a little differently now that I'm a Dad. It's a crazy feeling knowing that someone is relying on you to make the best decisions possible for her.

Has anyone seen the BK DOTM toys in the W or NW burbs? I went to one on Ogden in Downers Grove and, aside from Double Stacker/onion ring-shortened life span, came away empty-handed.
I'm getting one set of all of them, and another set of Autobots for my kids.

Stopped by Walmart in Glen Ellyn, Rt 53 and Butterfield Rd, for some shirts and other stuff. I was thinking about getting the WM exclusive race-ready Sideswipe, love the gunslinger mold. What do I find instead? HA Whirl and Tailpipe, yay! They only had one of each, so I grabbed both.
And then the most unexpected sight: a single, lonely, Generations Warpath! After an audible gasp (what a geek!), I snatched him up and guarded him as I shopped for the othr stuff I needed. His package was perfect except for a torn hanging hook. I'm ZOWEE very happy. KAPOW and such.
I always feel bad posting about when I've bought the last of something cool. It feels more like a bragging than a sighting. *shrug*

I'm impressed so far...Mirage has been my fave to play, but I just started the Soundwave chapter so I'm not that far in. Haven't touched multiplayer yet.

I caved and ordered 2 each of Starscream and Sideswipe from ToysRUs.com on Sunday. I'll probably take Sentinel Prime or Optimus Prime off the list next week. It's really expensive when you buy two of each set but hopefully I can recoup my costs of the 2nd set by selling the Kreons and extra heads and parts on eBay.

Sounds good to me, though I'm not sure how viable August will be for myself. Earlier in August will be better than later, though I can't commit to anything at this point.

That is what it's all about my friend! Nothing wrong with letting everyone know when you get one of those awesome finds, especially when it's one you weren't quite expecting to find. Congrats and enjoy. Warpath is a great toy (just wish his head had a ball joint and his waist swiveled, but hey ... they all can't be perfect!)

I'm impressed so far...Mirage has been my fave to play, but I just started the Soundwave chapter so I'm not that far in. Haven't touched multiplayer yet.
This is my honest review of the game, and its one I submitted to game stop. Language obviously changed due to their policies but you asked, so here we go.
I had high HIGH hopes for this one. If War for Cybertron is a delicious ice cream cake of fun campaigning and superior multiplayer game play. Dark of the Moon is the bully at my birthday party who squats over my ice cream cake and takes a **** right in the middle of it.
Here's a small list of reasons why.
1: Dumbed down multiplayer, bravo Highmoon on taking all the qualities from WFC and just throwing them into the game, then saying "Ah f*ck it" and walking away.
2: The driving and "stealth force" aspect goes together as well as a turd in a punch bowl. I'm SO glad I now need to hold an additional button down so I don't go smacking into walls and buildings because if you let off the acceleration you go into "stealth mode"
3: The levels...what the hell happened?! You had these nice, vast levels that you could easily navigate in vehicle mode. And in this POS you're basically box canyoned in at every possible turn besides the spawning point! So explain to me Highmoon, who dropped the ball on level design, cause he needs to be castrated. (Refering to multiplayer)
4: Stripped of double jump...what? Did it not make sense to give giant robots who turn into cars a double jump option?!
Just...god...I could go on forever. This game is so bad, I implore anyone who reads this if its posted to spend your money else where. Don't give Highmoon anymore of your hard earned dollar I certainly won't be unless they somehow redeem themselves, but at this point. What with them completely abandoning WFC and then taking on this piece of **** and parading it around like its just as good....I don't see that happening any time soon....
Keep in mind, yes I'm quite bitter and I thank god I only rented this game. But I've been bitter at Highmoon for making War for Cybertron then just abandoning the project completely. The game is still plagued with problems, host migration, getting "timed out" because the server is crap. Games being interupted cause hosts rage quit. Just...god, I hate when I pay money for a product that I want and it turns out to be a big fat turd.

We just have one smaller four foot branch in the back that got blown down. We also have power, and miraculously none of our patio furniture outside was damaged (including our glass table) nor was my daughter's play toys outside (fisher price basketball net, her step 2 castle and other toys, etc) damaged nor does it look they even moved. However, across the street and one one block down on either side of my house has no power. None of Wolf has it, it looks like a really bad wind gust went right down Wolf rd by the destruction that is left over from the storm, all of Oakton is crazy and without power. Kmart and all of the other stores around there were closed due to the power outage. I drove down Lee/Mannheim toward the Rosemont Target. That neighborhood got hit hard as well! Mount Prospect got hit really hard as well, power seems to be out for most of Mount Prospect, though surprisingly (or rather not surprisingly) Walmart still had power but nothing around it did.
I heard a Tornado Warning on WGN last night...was that you that area? It missed Rockford for the most part...we just had a little wind and some heavy rain.
