Yeah more or less. Transformers United is Takara's generations line. They are more expensive because that is the cost of importing them. They will be released in the us if you want to save money.
The Takara versions will not be released in the US. HASBRO versions of these molds, yes.

Yeah I agree. I actually wouldn't mind another Armada Prime Redeco.

QFT.
I am thinking the same thing.
::HIGH FIVE:: OK! Yes, this is good.

My classics collection already takes up twice the space of any other line, and my girlfriend's been complaining about my 2 bookcases ever since I got the second one.
I just...really don't know how to fit them all on the shelf.

Edit: I do have to make a couple of observations about the design though - it realy looks to me like the TF United Laser Prime still has doubled wheels in the back, but that they press into his legs in robot mode. Anyone else see that? Also, I think his sword transforms into his trailer hitch... or am I hallucinating?

Can't tell about the wheels, but I think you're right about his sword turning into the truck's hitch. hopefully that means a plastic blade instead of rubber.

I'm still campaigning for a second bookcase!!!
I live in a really small apartment so next time my girlfriend suggests moving I'm going to state my terms and conditions (extra bookshelf, no moaning!)
For a few of the new figures I've had the g1 version as a placeholder so space for them isn't too much of a concern for them. For the rest I think I'm going to have to have a rotation system.

What the hell are those in Wheeljack's hands? Looks like either an Alan key or a pistol being held at the barrel end.

His sword looks like a giant combat knife. That's pretty freakin' awesome. Also, regarding "Meh, Awesome, Blech", Hero Prime has giant rockets! Surely that warrants more than a meh!
Ironhide516 wrote:I think Scourge will look great next to Universe Cyclonus. Unfortunately in the Western New York area we haven't gotten past wave 1 yet of Generations & HFTD. I finally managed to find a single Darkmount the other day at a Target. Oh & there was a Tuner Skids there too

Caelus wrote:Edit: Actually, I dismissed the inevitable Nemesis repaint of the G2 United Optimus figure because I actually have SDCC Nemesis Prime, but now that I stop to think about it, since I also have the Nemesis repaints of Big Convoy and Hero Prime, and since they are clones anyway, maybe I should just dub them their own subgroup, and display all four attacking Optimus at once. Too bad I don't have the original RID Scourge. I saw him once in the store and was going through a being-responsible-with-my-money phase.

Really, this is getting dissapointing.
