This is supposed to surpass the standards that fans have come to expect? The jets look cool but there is no way in hell I will have these robots on my shelf.

Yep! that's what made me laugh.... LOL how can anyone make fun of Hasbro while praising this POS robot mode is beyond me...

Apparently in the IT universe, the Seekers are also window lickers.
I would have a hard time paying 10$ for these, as they look like god awful KO's of a higher quality turd.

I'm still tempted to snag one of these, just to see the transform.
Something tells me I'll be able to get a deal if I wait. :-?

But, like I said before, neat engineering, poor overall product.

Im not crazy about robot modes mostly for the heads. Maybe some resin artist will score a payday on new heads. But since I own 37 versions of the Hasbro seeker mold, It would be pointless to display these in robot mode. I plan to display all of them as one big Cybertronian airshow.

You must admit its more then the head.. all of the perorations looks likes wrong. But if you only care about the jet mode then that's great cause it looks awesome. Still I'm kind of surprise you're jumping all in on these right away.

I always feel bad for IT. They were one of the pioneers of the 3rd party scene. Their Quint judge arrived before City Commander! But they just can't seem to get it together when it comes to a lot of their later offerings. By all rights these should be a home run. Tetrajets AND G1 accuracy in both modes? If done right I might have been convinced to replace my Rainmakers at least.

Alright, I can see what happened. Craggy meant, "I'm glad they went the same route as the Classics and Masterpiece Seekers and didn't use the typical Hasbroish fake cockpit." I can see what he means with Hasbro tending to use fake car/plane kibble for chest pieces, like Beast Hunters Smokescreen and that Movieverse Harrier like mold that was Dirge and is the Botcon Skywarp. It looks like the meaning was slightly muddled in the word order.

Word order can be like punctuation at times. Throw mama from the train a kiss? Or, help your uncle jack off the horse? :D

Hooray for confusion!

In more topical news, while I concede it's impressive that they made this work, it doesn't do much for me. I honestly always thought it was kinda dumb that the 'bots turned from their cybertronian modes into obvious Earth-based robot modes in the cartoon. (Even if I understand why they didn't want to develop two dozen character models that would only be used in one episode of a low-budget toy commercial) Mind you I'm a 90s kid and only saw any significant portion of G1 within the last year thanks to the Hub, so I'm not exactly nostalgic. I admire the design of the tetrajet itself, and might think about picking up one or two to display in that mode, but eh. More for you, Rated-X.

Wow, that is pretty crazy how much they look like RM figures. But unfortunately it's a shame too. Not sure why they'd put so much effort into these and have such dumpy looking bot modes with awful head sculpts.

I forgot about the ROTF Dirge mold. Another fake cockpit. On these figures, I admit the heads are pretty bad. (The coneheads are actually better than the original 3) But if these were released back in 2005, everyone on this board would be all over them like flies on s**t. I do admit Hasbro set a standard with the classics seeker mold, but minus the heads these arent that far behind. Anyone noticed that the figures were posed poorly ? I think they actually tried to pose Thrust. The others, not so much. seeing the figures articulation being used might make them look better. But then again, Im buying them for the tetra jet mode. Im G1 cartoon to the core and these alt modes represent the real WFC in my opinion.

Good lord. These are the derpiest-looking 3rd-party bots I have ever seen. Impossible toys should seriously just give up. Their figures are the worst quality and also look the worst. I bet Hasbro wish all 3rd parties made figures of this standard!

These figures would have looked old-fashioned and sub-par in 1995. Now? They are plain embarassing.

They definitely lack detail but some extra/better paint apps would help that. It's the head sculpt absolutely kills these. I guarantee someone's going to buy one of these, paint it right, and replace the head and it'll probably look awesome.

Too bad it'll probably fall apart after 2-3 transformations though.

This mould is beyond any help, even with a half-decent head sculpt it has the shortest legs I have seen, they are as short (if not shorter) than the torso. The whole thing is a damn mess.
