In-Hand Images: Kre-O Transformers Micro Changers Combiners Devastator and Superion

Thanks to the HK-TF forums we have in-hand images of the Kre-O Transformers Micro Changers Combiners Devastator and Superion. Each set is comprised of four transformable and combinable Kreon mini-figures, the fifth member of each team below comes from the individual blind packs. Check out the images mirrored below. In addition to these two there are also Predaking and Bruticus sets on the way.

Neat! Looking forward to these.
Re-using one of the individual bot's head wholesale for the Combiner's head is disappointing, makes it look like a super-mode for them rather than a distinct identity. Swapping helmets or faces should fix it good enough, though.
Hard to tell what exactly is going on, but it looks like the Combiner's arms are attached to where a basic Kreon's arm would be, i.e. you pop off a set of arms every time you rebuild it. Don't think I like that.
Also, each set is comprised of 4 Kreons, not 5. The 5th man on both teams are from the blindpacks.

Being all interconnecting parts, I'm sure you can at least stick the 5th bot's parts on somewhere. Probably wouldn't be very elegant, though.
Hopefully somebody comes up with a build that incorporates the 5.

Nice! Yeah even if there aren't official instructions to incorporate the 5th member, I'm sure it would be easy to do.
Do the little bases come with the sets as well? If so that's great because I can use the extra ones to display the preview Kreons when these are in combiner mode.
I wish I had a personal work desk to display these on. Sucks having to share a workstation.

They look "meh", but it's really stupid that if you want to complete their combined form, you have to hunt down the right blindpack. Seriously, what the hell? They should all come in one box, not four in a box and one found in a little packet.

I'm pretty sure you can still combine them without the 5th member. Much of the combined mode seems to be made up of additional pieces. Which is a bit annoying if you want to display them as separate bots, but being a building toy I'm sure there's something you can do with the pieces.
I also forgot to say, I'm always impressed with the ingenuity of their little vehicle modes. Gotta love creativity with building toys.
I'm not sure but I think they've posted galleries of Bruticus and Predaking on the HK-TF forum, but I'm not a member so I can't see the posts.

I don't know. I like the concept, and the fact that it's a combiner pack of the kreons, however it's kinda inconvenient the fifth member is blindpacked. Ah well, I think still looks great any way

We now have in-hand images of the Kre-O Transformers Micro Changers Combiners Bruticus set. The set comes with Onslaught, Swindle, Brawl, and Vortex. If you want to have a full five man team you'll have to track down Blastoff in the blind packs. We got a look at Superion and Devastator yesterday, which just leaves us waiting for images of the Predaking set. Enjoy the images courtesy of HK-TF mirrored below.
