One can only say "I think this thing is cool and I like it," so many times and in so many ways before becoming a broken record. Gotta keep some diversity going. ;)

diversity? are you kidding me
instead of talking about how much its not cartoon accurate and nitpick everything about it
one could say since its a "Generations" toy that being said it was never meant to be show accurate but look more modern better design just like all the other Generations toys looks better than the show or the original toy, he looks tougher more bad-ass! 8)
Emiliano Santalucia said in the latest Twincast Podcast he was designing both this toy and Waspinator off of their cartoon models first and foremost.

And, how does "being a Generations toy" automatically excuse a TF toy from being fiction-accurate? Look at all of the WFC/FOC and IDW G1 Generations toys. Those are all very fiction-accurate. The Classics-style era is practically dead at this point, what with a greater sense of uniformity and consistency occurring between the toys and the fiction rendering toy-only updates superfluous. ;)

Yea, no.
As I said the toy is awesome, it just has a few minor things that cold have been done better without sacrificing the rest of the awesome the toy already is. In fact this and Waspinator are the only Generations I'll be getting, that's how great this toy is. And should a 3rd party set come along that fixes all or most of my problems I'll get that too to make this thing even better.

So what you're saying is that they should've done the same "fake" chest they've done with car/jet formers in the past even though the fandom always crucifies them every time they do it >:oP

I don't complain about those instances.

Neither do I. I figure if they make the bot mode look better then why complain.

Exactly, the bot-mode is the main thing anyway. I hate it when people complain about a super awesome show/ movie accurate figure because the alt-mode isn't 100% perfect.
Like ROTF Leader Starscream, people hated that toy because the underside of the plain wasn't accurate to the real thing and had robot kibble.

Maybe someone can make a replacement jaw that expands in bot-mode to cover his chest, if not, it's not a deal-breaker.

(Santalucia said in the latest Twincast Podcast he was designing both this toy and Waspinator off of their cartoon models first and foremost.)and they do for the most part but if thats the case they should have done a better job at making it cartoon accurate i'm not complaining though this rhinox is way better than the cartoon look
(how does "being a Generations toy" automatically excuse a TF toy from being fiction-accurate?)
im not saying it does but look at some of the other generations toys and tell me that their not different than the original, the true original G1 sure some are the same as the idw G1 comics but im not talking about that besides any update either comic book or toy is still an update on the character design despite the continuity =;

The only downside with Rhinox is that he reminds me that I still can't find the Robot Masters/Telemocha Optimus Primal anywhere.

Please Hasbro, make my life easier (and probably cheaper) and release that figure in the US also.

I second this notion, please hasbro, you're doing so well with the BW generations figures, give us a US release deluxe size primal.

Some people would rather complain about the 5% of the figure that isn't perfect rather than appreciate the 95% of it that's awesome.
