Glad I did, it is a good little figure with an interesting transformation and a good look. Nice and stable and the feet are pretty adaptive to allow a number of different action poses. My only gripe is the head showing in alt mode.
Fantastic! Didn't know what you were missing right? That fig is awesome!
As for the head in alt-mode - it can be seen via the wide front window right? Personnally, I love it when the toy developers set them up like that. I know a lot of folks don't like that, but I think it's fun - and funny.
Nope - the top half of the head is clearly visible between the 'alarm lights'.
But the face is obsured inside the car, making the top half of the head nothing more than a rigging for the lights on the side of his head.
It's pretty non-offensive.

I never really got into the Cybertron series before, but based on the recommendations I picked up Cannonball on eBay for $5 (new!). After getting a chance to fiddle with it in person, I'm totally in love with the vehicle and robot modes! Great paint scheme and a fun, posable robot. I also decided to pick up Cybertron Downshift, based on some comments to this post as well; love that 70's muscle car alt mode and perfect paint scheme. Both are totally worth the money. Thanks for the great buried treasure review, and keep 'em coming!

Robot mode is terrible-looking. The 'eye patch' looks like a paint error and that shade of brownish-orange is literally nausea-inducing. Plus, it retains the limited poseability of Red Alert.
The figure is, at best, an 'I see what you did there' figure, and certainly not a WIN.
Riced-out? No, no... this is a royalty-proofed version of the Dodge Magnum. The taillights are only painted on the Crankcase version but the lower profile back end makes it obvious.
I will agree on the eye patch, and the yellow-ish brown is a bit weird.
I looked at the rear flashers on Red Alert, and I'm wondering if they were originally intended to be powerlink points. The air hole is the perfect diameter for a Mini-Con junction. If you broke the interior hole on one of your older ones, try installing the broken Mini here.
