Many of you suggested it could be the power supply or the motherboard. Turns out, it's the motherboard, and I'm not the only one. Look at everyone elses struggles with this piece of ****:

Now that's all fine and dandy. A person should be able to replace a motherboard pretty easily, right? WRONG! As it turns out, my Gateway model uses a very unique motherboard. So unique, I would call it the Beta Max of PC's. To just replace the motherboard, I'm looking at $200.00. To hell with that I say!
So with some patience and a screwdriver, I completely disassembled my PC tower. (Was bored and pissed). So now I have several parts that I would like to recycle when I buy a new PC. I have the RAM, the hard drive, a multimedia docking station, the CD/DVD burner, and a USB docking port. Not sure if those are all the correct names for each item, but that's what I'm calling them.
Anyway, I'm looking for suggestions on what to do essentially. I just need a new Tower + Motherboard/CPU, but I am open to a whole new unit. I want something that's combatible with the parts I stripped from the old junker. If I can't work everything into the new one, that' ok. I just hate seeing things that still work go to waste.

What kind of specs do you need?
