This is the worse smelling thing ever! I think the Skunk got scared by a Raccoon and sprayed, but hit my house instead! How do I get rid of this smell! I just went through a bottle of Febreze!

check out the Mythbusters website and look for Episode 16. They have various cures for skunk.

I've always heard to use tomato juice.

That is what I was going to suggest as well.

Still stinks, but not as bad. It turns out Tomaoto masks the smell, but Peroxide seems to be the way to eliminate it, that and Vinegar/Apple Cider. It smelled so bad, I had to but Vicks Vapor Rub under my nose to fall asleep. I can't believe a little animal can make this much smell!

I hit one in the fall, which meant my car's heater needed to run...

...needless to say, I ended up having to use the other family car until the smell could dissipate. And I had to bathe three times and get rid of my clothes.

...that was so friggin' nasty.

I went on a truck route with my dad several years ago. He thought it would be funny to run over some dead roadkill on the shoulder of the road.

We were gagging from Kelmar, Iowa to Marshfield, Wisconsin because it was a skunk. The smell was truly horrible.

About 5 years ago my mom's dog got skunked, and I had got the "privilege" of bathing him. He smelled SO bad, I was gagging and trying not to throw up. I had to use tomato juice and I think white vineger. It took at least several washings before that smell came off, and even for a while after that it lingered. The next summer the heat must have 'activated' the remainder of it that was still on or in his skin, and he smelled like skunk again though it was milder. It didn't return the next summer.

Just to warn you: Depending on how well it gets cleaned up, it "may" return when the heat arrives in the summer next year, particularly if the tiny oil droplets got into any furniture or a carpet. It will go away hopefully, but it can take a little time.
