I dug some ancient screenshots out for another topic, and figured you lot deserve to be subjected tosee them too. How HMW used to look, back when the HTML/layout it still has was originally designed!

I’d forgotten how HMW used to look—and I have to admit I like how it used to look. Maybe more than it does now.

What a shame the Maximal and Predacon factions never worked out. If I remember correctly, we didn’t have the numbers (or was it enthusiasm for the Maximals and Predacons?) to support four factions in the game. Still was an awesome idea, I thought.

And Dol-Laser rifles. lol Remember how they and Battle Blades were the weapons to have?

I'm looking at the arena stat on that second screenshot - 1,906 to 1,872 battles (i.e. 3,778) in 24 hours. These days we average around 300 missions/day...

And Drop Bear - I used to dream of one day wielding a Battle Blades!
