well they must have run out of films to submit!
they should pursue the technical oscars. I still think they were robbed for the sfx for the first film.

One of the things I learned to do while getting into the movies is to take a step back and make sure I'm not taking myself or the hobby too seriously.
I think Paramount needs to do the same.
That said, this is hilarious!

Last I checked, the Academy didn't have categories for "Best Fourth Time Rehash," "Best Minimalist Use of Robotic Dinosaurs," or "Best Onscreen Justification for Statutory Rape."

The thing to remember is they're asking for consideration ... it's not actually nominated. The Academy will go through all considerations and decide what should then be nominated.
It's like entering into a bunch of raffles. You don't use all your money to buy tickets in just one, you spread it around to increase your chances.

Cool video, loved seeing Cullen recording lines. Also didn't know Skrillex or Hans Zimmer was involved.

Re: Age of Extinction Discussion Thread
like me asking Megan Fox to consider a dirty weekend away
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

ZeroWolf wrote:Surely the jokes come from the writer.
While I can't confirm on the jokes from DOTM (got the no-frills DVD), the Bumblebee peeing scene was Bay (he added that while filming the scene, on a whim) as well as the infamous Devastator wrecking balls in ROTF.
The human jokes weren't really his fault, technically. He simply let them off the leash, and allowed them to do their own "improv" thing. If you listen to his commentary in the first movie, he's apparently a massive fan of improvisational "acting", which in the case of Leo, Jerry and Sam's mom, is more like horsing around on set.
Thankfully, it seems he's done with that kind of thing, as seen in AoE. While not perfect, it's something I can sit back and enjoy for the cutting edge CGI and decent fight scenes, and not have to put up with annoying humans every few minutes. The new cast is a massive improvement.

Hey now I know how we got Galvatron's head sculpt...something like
Supervisor- "hey guys we need a BAD GUY looking like head sculpt...any ideas?" lol

*BTW this video is part of the bonus content on the bluray dvd set... I really wish Mr. Bay directs the next movies.

I don't understand why people are hating Galvatron head design so much... I think that while not great, it was decent enough (Even if I want Galvatron to look a little more "Megatron-like), I saw worse things in movieverse...

What is love? Baby don't hurt me, Don't hurt me, no more.

I love the design for Galvatron. Only thing I dont like is his transformation sequence. I'm still hoping for a proper lorry fight between him and prime in tf5.
