Hi all,

Did anyone see an awesome looking Trailer before the TFM that showed New York city being attacked by what sounds like an extremely large creature. All you hear is a very loud monster's roar and pieces of buidings' debris flying on streets as well as the statue of liberty's head flying on a street. Looks awesome, but that's all we are shown. I'm guessing Godzilla

Any Ideas?

'cloverfield' is the name of the project like how transformers was 'prime directive'. its not the final name of the movie.

i personally thought of godzilla right away when i first heard the roar, and how they talked about Japan..but i kinda dont think it will be.

It's just another hollywood mindgame.

The movie itself is probably nothing special, so they make these trailers to get people talking, they don't tell you what the movie is called or what it's about so people will be interested in what would be an otherwise "everyday" monster movie. It's all word of mouth, and talking about it just makes it worse. You just have to ignore it, after the movie is out people will be looking back and thinking "Wow, I can't believe I cared so much for a trailer for this silly movie"

They did the same thing for Titan A.E, remember? And not only did that movie suck ass, it also bankrupted the studio that made it...

Latest rumor I heard floating around the net was that the monster is Cthulhu from H.P. Lovecrafts horror tales.

The title " Bad Robot" apears before the trailer and after in the brief credits. I think it is a giant robot.

I've heard rumors of Voltron and Rampage... No one really knows at this point.
