BUT it's entirely possible people are using macros,it has been done before, we had a solution, and it wasn't that bad a toll on things. sorry you think this is "bitching" but breaking the rules of the game is breaking the rules of the game.

GS i don't think you're cheating, but if you want to take things the wrong way, feel free.

I don't think instating solutions to prevent possibile cheating of ANY kind is a bad idea. I'm just saying that I'm getting a little tired of the miriad of excuses as to why I could POSSIBLY be doing as well as I am.

By that logic, when somebody surpass me eventually, can I insinuate that they are"cheating", or will I have to hear that it was inevitable since I haven't been playing for as long as they have?

I understand that some people have issues with the fact that others are doing so well, but, is it really nescessary for them to constantly try and ruin other people's game enjoyment to make themselves feel a little better?

Yeah, that would be a shame.

a shame? i think either i've mistyped, or you've misread. surely it would be good to make it impossible for the game rules to be broken by disabling macros?

I was being sarcastic, sorry you didn't understand.

Having about 1/10th of GS' experience and playing for about 1/10th of the time he does, I'd say the only thing stopping me whipping his ass is the lack of all-week interweb access. But if you wanna put the macro thing back on again, feel free, it never bothered me that much in the first place to be filling it in.

I'm going to use my best judgment and lock this baby up. I would like to go under the presumption that no one is cheating in any sort in an online, practically text based game. People play and some play a lot. Those who spend their time playing attend to have more exp than those who don't. Could someone be using macros? I don't know, it is possible. But the day you need to use macros to have fun playing a game that you're not really playing is a bit sad. If anyone feels the urge to claim someone is cheating, contact a mod and just don't point a finger blindly at someone because they seem to play a lot, have a good average of kills, or have a lot of exp.
