For any Avatar fans out there I just wanted to give you a reminder. Episode 1 of Book 3 airs 9-21-07 at 8:30 PM Eastern time!
Man I can't freaking wait. I have to blow through my book 2 boxset tomorrow before it comes on.
EDIT: It's aired. So this is now the official A:TLA Book 3 discussion topic!

I saw a picture of Aang in the TV GUIDE and he has hair.
I didn't see the end of last season...
but why on Earth does he have hair?
He looks freaking stupid

Well, one could reason that after getting his ass electrocuted, a fair bit of time has passed, in which he hasn't shaved his head.

That would make sense.
Like I said, I didn't catch the last part of the last season, I wasn't living somewhere that had cable

Seeing as I do not have pay-tv, I've had to download Books 1 and 2. Have not had a chance t watch Box 2 yet, but I think I'll hunt these down as they come instead of getting a 4 Gb file next July!

I really hope you people mean you're downloading them from itunes.
20 episodes, a disc with bonus content and a nice boxset overall for $45.

Can't wait for this one. My daughters and I have been counting down for months. Yesterday I kept giving them an hour by hour countdown. I'm sure we will be watching it a few times before the night is over.
**Spoilers**
although somewhat minor
Season 3 opens a several months after the end of season 2. Aang and friends are on a captured Fire Nation ship. Aang, for the most part has been unconscious for that amount of time, hence he has not shaved his head. In one of the commercials on Nick they show Aang being surprised that he has hair.

Well. That was certainly a really good start to the final season if I do say so myself. I'm still amazed at what they can pack into 23 minutes. And The Track Teams' score for the episode was phenomenal!

Final Season?
Guess that makes sense, seeing as Aang already knows Air-bending.
I downloaded the ep on Sunday (Australia time), so I'll have to wait until next weekend to watch the first episode.

Maybe not that last for the Avatar Universe tho. I'll have to find the interview but it has been said the creators of Avatar are looking to do more with the series beyond season 3 it just won't deal with Aang and crew.
As for the epsiode. I have already watched it several times and it just gets better. I love the little details and easter eggs they put into this series. Anybody else notice the couple from "Secret of the Fire Nation" with their baby (also shown in "Zuko Alone" - pregnant)?
It's little things like that that really make this show as good as it is.

Toph Rocks!!! No doubt. Coolest part of the episode..
**SPOILER**
...had to be when Toph took the METAL bridge out from under the Fire Nation soldiers. Just her grabing the METAL ship and bending it was just awesome.

I dunno. I preferred the "load the Toph" line. Fricking hilarious.

I'll have to agree to dis agree there As much as i like Toph she's just mad number two with me after Katara
Spoiler wrote:started bending mist and sealed the ships hole with ice. She nearly flooded the firenation vessel herself. but i'ld bedt Toph could have ripped it apart as she can see on the metal ship.
Both are quite possibly the strongest non avatar benders EVER!
And Zuko, I can't wait to hear more Soka lines

I don't know. The whole "The universe just loves to prove me wroong" line was pretty damn funny. Then "Thanks you the universe". Sokka is the king of comedy in the Avatar-verse.
